You know, this was pretty inside-jokey to a major college located where the California Milk Board is. Yet they managed it to sell it to the Dairy Farmers.

Nowadays, the seperation between milk mustache ads and White Gold/Deprivation ads is just pitiful.

Of course, I used to be happily engrossed on which milk board did which advertisement. All of the original advertisements with sweets having no milk, starting with the Aaorn Burr one, were all pretty much done by Caliornia Milk Board.

While all of the mustache magazine ads are done by National Milk Board- or MilkPEP. Dairy Management Inc./American Dairy Association and National Dairy Board did aid on the pre-200? mustache ads MilkPEP did, which is why "Dairy Farmers" comined with "Milk Processors" during the early years of milk mustaches.

The connection with California Milk Processor Board's "Got Milk?" is simple- In 1998 they got license to use to slogan from them and the rest is history.
