you should really play the game to fully understand it, the story is so intricate. Its definately a learning experience all the way through. I wouldnt necassarily sayed ryan was evil. Maybe just power hungry. But i guess thats part of the whole mix. He built a city that was essentialy meant to be perfect, and it all went to hell, So yeah, play the game. btw theyre going to be making a film of it, im well stoked

Jack (the character who you play as) survives a plane crash. The details about the crash aren't explained or at least not yet, because i haven't beaten the game yet. After using a bathsphere, Jack goes into an underwater city called rapture,built by an evil man named andrew ryan. The crazy people are people who overdosed on the EVE. It's that stuff needed for plasmids and went mad. You start out with a wrench and quickly get more weapons.
