@jkalin196511 It's always quieter with the hood closed.... I always wanted a IBM 95 but, alas they were too expensive. My IBM Memory 50 and 100 work just fine... :)
@Xerox6085I I had a model 95, but the motor was bad on it, and one of my cats must have walked across it and accidentally turned it one while I was at work and when I got home the motor was completely froze up. I liked it better than the Model 85, because it had batter backup for the memory.
This is not a 60, I used a 60 for a couple of years at work. Trouble with these machines was they were not reliable. I owned a 50 with proportional until the Wheelwriters came out. My IBM maint. contract dropped from $300 to $75 when I got rid of it! It's why so few have survived and good luck getting them fixed!
@johnrk556 The model 50, 60, and was it 70 or 75 had all kinds of problems with the power module gears. They would crack and even shatter. At the time I think it was $300.00 to have the power module gear set replaced on those. A Systel WP was connected to some of these with a interface card.
Can you use this to drown out the sound of a loud neighbor and at the same time drive them nuts?

@barf245 Hey, thanks for the great idea. My neighbor lady has a very loud mouth and she runs it all the time, LOL.

You can't see it very well because of the reflection, but the tag on the front says Model 85.
