  • I would like to know how to work out the intersect, if i can't put in confirmed data in. I have a problem in which i have to find how many people out of my data read both types of paper. 25% of people read paper A and 45% read paper B, 30% do not read either paper, how to i find A intersect B

  • @tzeentch14 Thanks for the question! Split the A and B venn diagram into 3 variables. a stands for people who only read A, x stand for people that read both A and B, and b stands for people who only read B. Then a+x+b gives you the total number of people that read A or B, and you need to figure out what that is. And a+x gives you how many people only read A. And b+x gives you how many people only read B. Put those equations together, solve for x, and you'll know the intersection!
