My laptop is an off the shelf Phillips, 2ghz core 2 duo, 4gb ram and an Nvidia 9300m GS, the same card as in the notebook the uploader used for this vid. For a laptop card it's actually quite surprising what it will run, COD World at War in 800x600, Specular lighting off, shadows off, textures high, will run surprisingly well, as well as Farcry 2 (set to low, but still looks pretty impressive considering). A lot of people knock the graphics card but for gaming on the move, it's not bad at all.

why on earth would you have AA on? on a screen that small you don't need it at all, plus AF doesn't do much either.

turn these down and you will have a game that runs faster withotu compromising on graphics

I don't think so because AA and AF are handled by the GPU while the FPS is capped by the CPU.

Thats not entirely true.. although the CPU IS bottle necking the gpu the fps still drops... even on my PC and AA at all even 2X AA will make the FPS drop even if its a little bit but definatly not rise... So i think the fps WOULD be better but not by a lot as its only 4x AA

I tried running the game with AA and AF completely turned off. No difference in framerate. The game on this machine is CPU bound, not GPU bound with AA and AF cranked up all the way not having an affect on fps. Bottleneck is the Intel Atom CPU.

N10J-A1 has vista and a 160gb hard drive. N10J-A2 has vista and a downgrade disc to xp and a 320 gb hard drive. N10Jc comes with xp, has 160 gb hard drive and only 1 gb of ram

I cant believe it, i have the same Asus n10j - geforce 9300mgs, 2 gb RAM, win xp/win 7 .... CoD2 with minimum details isnt playable - it looks like slidesow... i have the correct driver - windows 7 aero run perfectly. Call of duty 1 run too perfectly, but CoD2 is horrible. Can u help?

Well one common mistake ive seen with notebook with switchable graphics adapter is u have to make sure its using the 9300 and not the intel chipset.

Well, i have the same GPU and a dual core 2.16ghz and i run cs source perfectly at max settings(with no AA though) so i guess it can run left4dead with almost the same performance.

Well, my Call of Duty World at War and Call of Duty 4 look pretty close to the same on the PC...and even with everything in world at war scaled down to minimum it isn't even playable, whereas COD4 is very playable at medium graphics on the same system with the same OC.

no...you definitely have to OC it, or else it will be barely playable. I OC'd my N10J to 2.1GHz and I find the game very playable...basically similar to the video above.

This N10 can 'run' Cod4 thanks to its Nvidia GeFroce 9300m. With the gma950 is insane try to play it. If u search any video about gaming with the asus eee pc 1000h you could find some games u can run.

There is a turbo-mode available for the N10J which overclocks the CPU to almost 1.8 GHz. We're still waiting for the same SetFSB support on the N10J as with the ASUS Eee which people have achieved 2.0 GHz overclocks. I haven't tried overclocking the on-board GeForce 9300M GS either. I apologize for the quality of the video; it was taken with an old digital camera. On-line, the frame rates are between 20fps and 40fps depending on how much action there is on the screen.
