Awesome vid, I saw a vid of some F-22 pilots talking about the Rapptor, they said when they were testing it in Alaska, they went up against some F-15's in mock dogfights. The F-22 pilots said that the fight wasn't fair till they took on 8 or more F-15's per F-22 at ONCE. Now that is amazing.

@hhheello no. in a word. The reason these fighters can do this is because their thrust power is nearly equal to, or in the raptors or f15's case, exceeds their weight. Civil aircraft might be able to point upward momantarily, but their airspeed will drop like a rock.

I don't really understand why people try to compare stats to performance and mission objectives. look at some of the Planes we make that are mission intense, and the fact that planes like the nightwalk serve a specific purpose. we make a fair amount of special fighter,s gunships, bombers and other planes, no oppses, they all endere and are used for a while. they know what there doing, wow nice video of a mean raptor in action.

@dirtbike154 Awesome, but watch this video.. The F-22 is overrated in my opinion, /watch?v=KaoYz90giTk
and the F-22 entered back in service again not too long ago. They (its not in this video) shut them down for about a month or so, I'm not sure why.

@tombayly13 Normally a very quick turn, or from the time I saw it, a very quick loop to go from being pursued by an enemy, to pursuing the enemy. Lol its bc I work with them.

@2001358056 they can cruise at supersonic speeds without using afterburners. the max thrust of the aircraft is classified but is said to be more than 70 thousand lbf; that is about 75 (!!!) times more powerful than an average car. i guess that much noise should be normal for such enormous power output.
