While I am one of the first to jump on police for abusing powers, the people in this video are idiots. Cops are encouraged to walk through businesses to show their presence, he wasn't doing anything wrong, so basically you have some hicks harassing a cop for doing something he is allowed to do. I'm sorry if you think that being an american means you can say and do whatever you want, and the cops have no right to do anything unless you are carrying a human head, but it just doesn't work that way. In addition to screaming and threatening this guy put his hands on an officer, then he punched him in the throat, the treatment he got was not nearly as bad as it could have been. And the woman tried to interfere with the tazing.the officers did exactly as they should have

From experience pepper spray is not always effective. Read up on tasers and you will see the people that have had heart attacks had underlying health issues anyway ( and no I'm not gonna ask someone if they have a condition before use).

I wonder how this got started. Sounds like a argument between husband and wife then a cop stepped in to break it up. He should have used pepper spray instead of a tazer. Pepper spray burns the eyes nose and mouth and makes you forget all about fighting also it does not cause heart attacks. Tazer should only be used if the suspect has a weapon. (Just my opinion)

Both of the idiots were using loud profanity and causing public alarm. The officer gave verbal commands to the two and they refused. The officer attempts to place the man under arrest and the man takes a swing at the officer. I already see two charges. The man refused verbal commands by another officer so the officer used the Taser to subdue man and make the arrest. The woman messed up when she put her hands on the officer. It's the woman's fault she got bounced off the ground. Google the story.

The tazer in this situation is not justified. And the take down of the lady, was also unjustified. All they had were big mouths:) if you could'nt resolve that situation without resorting to bodily harm, you have a communication problem.

He physically berated an officer for no reason, got physical with him, he got told to calm down and get on the ground multiple times, he didn't listen, he got tased and arrested. The offender kept escalating the situation, and the outcome was entirely his fault.

I got to give it to the police officer, he tried to handle the situation as best he could up to that point. I do really think this officer was one of the good guys. You do not hear the demons in his voice like jack-boots. You can still hear humanity in it.
