There is 7% church tax in 14 secular European countries incl Germany on all religions. How wud u feel if we charge 7% Mandir Tax in India for hindu conversions?

why shud u ??this is not a hindu country..minorities have been as much a part of independence as the hindus..if not more!!! why should there be tax for anybody??

The "charity" money for conversion of adivasis comes from taxes they charge in "secular" states of Europe. It is deducted at source from salaries of EVERYONE from EVERY faith whether they like it or not. I agree we should not tax anyone JUST AS MUCH AS they should not either. Ban Proselytization. The "secular" media should make sure they brand those countries "communal" and cry about Human rights of non x-tians there.

Agreed India belongs to all Indian origin faiths not just hindu. Others are Indians if they don't preach intolerance ie they are ONE & ONLY ONE true faith. How is it compatible with secularism if u preach u are ONLY true faith. I have no problem with Sikhism. It is an Indian origin faith. On any day I would prefer to convert to sikhism than convert to non-Indian origin faith considering their history of forceful conversions.

It is not jealousy. It is the constitution's subjugation to a religious law that hurts. As for them not having any problem with it, it is a community incapable of self-criticism. Because for them criticism=insult and affront. So obviously only others will have to take it up. And anytime others take it up it will be seen as "communalism", "jealousy" etc
Unless you live in a jungle totally cut off from civilization, anything you do affects others.

Nope. 1984 was congress-sikh riots and not hindu-sikh riots. No matter how much Congress tries to make it look like they fought for hindus but it was basically Rajiv's own agenda because Rajiv's mother was killed. Congress goons were hindu by religion so it is easy to call it hindu-sikh riots.
BJP is not preaching communal hate. They ask for equal rights for all indians (uniform civil code)and you call it communal!!! Congress gives reservations to muslims and that's secular. LOL

Besides, it is important to shout about development so that the development and performance becomes the criteria for electing candidates and not Caste, Reservation etc which politicians from elsewhere speacialize in. So shouting about development is the right direction for India.

How big is Delhi? How many villages are there in Delhi "state" to take care of? And not to mention that being a capital and also a host of commonwealth games it has a lot more resources available from center. Inspite of that you have power outages regularly in Delhi while it happens at most once in year or 2 in Guj.
Regarding "boasting", Indian public has a very short memory. They need to be reminded what has been done for them & then asked to reciprocate with votes.

besides delhi doesn't have strategic location lyk gujarat..there are villages in delhi..delhi and it's surrownding areas called NCR form a large area...
Gujarat has ports...large SEZ's locatiobns..delhi has nothing..still the management on the part of delhi govtr. to create strategic partnerships wid neighbouring states..the roads here, the population density management, influx of new residents..they are big tasks...

managing one city with a few scattered villages is NOT the same as managing a state with 18000 villages. Being the capital, money is never a problem for you. And for the ports, those were not left by the british, the ports are developed by the state itself in public-private partnership. So the credit for that also goes to the state. Since when is marketing a bad thing. All that is important is you do good and remind the public about it at election time
