The problem with the LMK3 I fixed was that the body of the keyboard was distorted and caused failure in the electric connection. I took all the keys and circuit boards off and reshaped the body (not easy) and stabilized it so the connections are fully made. It only worked for LMK3, if it's a LMK4 (hammered keys) it may not work. To check if the keyboard was distorted, look to see if the keys form a concave plane, if it does then the body is distorted.
I know exactly what the problem is. You were looking at porn on the internet and you jizzed all over the keys you filthy sod. Stop looking at porn. Pervert.
This kind of keyboard uses little rubber contacts under the keys, which transmit velocity data. This is a Fatar invention, but used on many keyboards like Roland, Kurzweil... Doepfer uses actually Fatar keybeds (Hammer Action and all the stuff). And the rubber contacts are delicate, therefore they sometimes need to be replaced...
Hahah so you mean you got rip off or WTF man... To be a great musician, you need to learn from yourself not others man. You need to create your own ideas on how to use your own talents and skills on music so that no one can play or copy your style or techniques. :)
Kurt how does your keyboard works now or did you already re-sell it ?

You have some bad rubber-fields.
One field is for a group of keys. So it may be that a group of white keys will not work and the black keys are o.k.
You can try to the rubber-contacts with glass-cleaner.

you got your keyboard split up in zones probably, each with individual velocity curves.. or not.. might be , who knows

Thanks motus,
I'm not an expert, but there are two facts that appear not to be compatible with your supposition:
1. all the black keys works well, and I don't think that it is possible to set up a zone of black keys only.
2. Before starting my test I've resetted the keyboard to manufacturer set

bit late but i had the same problem with my roland a80, just open it up , take the keys out and clean the contacts underneath, fixed mine
