I met Luke back in November. He was wrestling at a high school about an hour away from me for their annual show. He said from a money standpoint he liked being a Bushwhacker better, but when you talk about actual performing, he said he enjoyed being a Sheepherder better. I really want to see some of their Sheepherder matches.

In the WWF it didnt matter how bad they were, considering wrestling skill wasnt of importance, especially during the cartoon era, but when they wrestled in the NWA and mid-south, they covered up their lack of skill with blood and garbage wrestling. They are two great characters, tho. A lot of personality, which is a more important attribute in order to "make it"

He said in his book that you could take the greatest wrestler there's ever been, but if he has no charisma, he'll make less money than the guy who's a horrible wrestler, but is oozing charisma. Dusty Rhodes, according to Jerry Lawler, is probably the best example of how far charisma will take you in pro wrestling.

They are retired. I don't know where Butch lives but Luke lives in Puerto Rico. I read that online. These guys have been wrestling for a long time now. When Butch had his run in with the Sars Disease, he was forced to retire. Luke wresltes now and then but he's not very active. Butch was comissioner of a New Zealand based wrestling company, last I have heard.

I still have my autographed color promo photo of Cousin Butch and Cousin Luke. I truly admire these Kiwis. I last I heard about them, they have returned to New Zealand. What a beautiful country.
