Quality. Externally they might be almost identical, but the actual components are nowhere near the standard of the original. There's a reason that they're so cheap compared to the actual products.

Also, buying the fakes supports the unprincipled parasites who produce them. It's not the cloning specifically that angers me, it's the fact that counterfeiters are passing them off as something that they're not.

The fake one most of the time is faking the cosmetics of the phone to make you think that you are buying an expensive phone at a cheaper price. If you never had a N95 you wouldn't know the difference obviously. But when you check the difference you will then realize that you have bought a much cheaper phone with an expensive looking outer case. And for a premium price. You can tell which one is fake by looking at the Nokia N95 logo on the front of the phone in top left corner.  The genuine N95 has a smaller logo. The one on the fake is larger.

Original is the one on the right. It has the large led flash on the back. The one on the left has the small one. The long boot time is because of Symbian, and also the one on the left has call log on the first row on the left which has never been the case for the menu structure on Symbian operated N95's. Also, no wirless LAN on the main screen for the one on the left. Fail fake is fail.

You know what...., I sold them on 6 different pawn shop/second hand shop for AU$350,- each.
