@bevans52 No, 3-4 OLB's are primarily Pass rushers with the 3-4 DE's being the both the edge setters and block occupiers. They are DE's not DT's. Aaron Smith is probably the best 3-4 DE in the NFL and even though he is the size of a 4-3 DT he's still a DE. OLB's must be able to play the run and set an edge when asked to but that job primarily is on the shoulders of the DE's with LB's allowed to come free.

Oh yeah, he's more than capable, I think. If GB wuznt already stacked wit powerhouse LBs I could see him playin' for McCrathy's D(I still wish they'd taken Orakpo last yr. tho). There are the money calls that effect the out come of the game. Then there are the make up calls or what I have coined the cover up calls. Last night after reading the flipped remark in the paper that Will Muscamp made I wondered were they teaching this criminal activity of helmet to helmet. Other than breaking bones a concussion will slow a QB down. The refs are in Bevo's back pocket. Since this appears to be a pattern, (ie 07 game) is it being taught by some selected members of the staff?
