Cenk needs to wake up... Obama and Bush may be in different parties, but they are both serving the interets of the bankers, CEOs, and the military industrial complex. Man I wish Dennis Kucinich would have gotten the Democratic nomination.
He says what Axelrod and Plouffe tell him to say. Obama was and still is completely out of his depth. He doesn't really know what his philosophy is. It can't possibly be class warfare, because he's going to be the richest black man in the United States. Nope, he's a puppet -- right when we needed a leader. Fail.
usa needed a president like obama that care about the poor people.. that try to solve problems without wars...that try to make the world a better place for us all...god bless guys like you obama
its not about bush and cheney. or obama. or right and left. Obama isnt bowing to an ideology set up by bush and cheney. Its the American imperialistic ideology making way for the new world order. Youre wasting your time taking sides CENK. If you werent so busy laughing at alex jones maybe you could look into some of his work and know why the world is actually the way it is.
@tehDman What do you want to say that you couldnt in Europe? And who do you wanna shoot that you cant in Europe?Face it, USA is good for those with money, but without money you are nothing. Freedom of speech in Europe is therefore stronger. And if you are worried that you might have to blast someone with a shotgun for trespassing your property, that means your country is full of poor, uneducated people, who, at the same time, are probably economically exploited by those they have to steal from.
Break-ins and muggings/rape are just as prevailent in Europe as they are here, and what's worse is most people can't defend themselves against it over there. God forbid a mugger gets hurt just trying to make a living by stealing your money. As for freedom of speech, I think being threatened by people for speaking out against something (IE the muslimification of Europe) speaks for itself. See: Pat Condell and Geert Wilders.
If you mean worst, that's weird, because everyone in the world who isn't American thinks it's bush. Even people who agree with all of his policies think it's bush. He was a retarded oil puppet.
"if your not American, you are less of a person then me "
Lol. You're a nazi then? Can't say I'm surprised. Have you tried books? That might help.
Frankly it depends what you mean by 'person' anyway. Intelligence, kindness, honesty and strength clearly don't have anything to do with it.
So I'm curious what first made you decide to become a nazi? Did you get bitten by a brown person when you were little? Or do you just have a small penis?
@m3141592 what kind of a faggot are you asking about my fucking dick!!! die of AIDS you sick homo!!! and fuck yeah the Nazis had alot of great ideas, many of which we need to start using on the mexicans sneaking into America!!! but you dont hve that problem in your shithole country no one cares about you your less then me America owns the world so fuck you you arent permitted to have an opinion!!
@m3141592 your a faggot you have AIDS!!! but like i said your not American, you arent worth shit!!! theres America, and theres every shit pile country like whatever dumpster you come from!!!
what sold me on barack obama was two things. of course, a republican's snot in the equation.
1) hillary's vote on iraq. dems got rolled on that historic blunder. oh, and thanks to the media for doing nothing. if anyone should have been watching the hen house, it should have been the clintons.
2) small towns, "clinging to their religion and guns". the kind of stuff a progressive loves to hear a politician acknowledge.
Why does this guy blame everything on Bush, I don't like Bush either but Obama is exactly the same - just a little less open about it.
Obama is in bed with wall street like no other president before him.
He is extremely charismatic so people don't want to believe his whole presidential campaign was just a series of sound bites.
What has Obama actually done since becoming president? Apart from print money (which effectively raids the middle class's savings) and give it to bankers.
Also, no one is talking about this, but if you bothered to read bloomberg a month ago Obama is etching out the plans for another free trade, this time wiht South Korea. In a deep recession, almost depression, he is enacting policy that guarantee the shipping of jobs offshore and an increase in the trade deficit. It will lead to lower wages, higher inflation, lower GDP, higher unemployment, and higher debt(public and private).
At least you are starting to become objective again. You took a little break for a while when november 4, 2008 started rolling around and then for the first 6 months of the presidency. While I don't agree with you on every issue, I agree with you on some, and those I disagree with I respect anyways.You could only defend Obama for so long.The fact is, he voted for the bailout,kept Bernanke,put in Geithner as Treasury Sec. who helped engineered the credit bubble and is adding troops in afghanistan
Obama fooled a lot of people - including the major progressive radio personalities, a host of college kids, minority voters, and even Congressmen. Many thought Hillary would be too corporatist! - that's what you call Irony.
I did have something to say you idiot.. I mentioned the "left / right paradigm" Which says that politics in America is owned by two cheeks of the same ass and what we need to do about it is break this broken system. McCain would have been just as bad if not worse.. we can't settle for either.
You think more troops equals more peace? It's not a matter of him not saying he wouldn't send more troops, it's the fact that more troops equals more death.
no sorry you are wrong..he said and i quote.."the Afghan war is a war of necessity"..he said he was gonna stop the war in iraq..checks your facts pal now lol that
Obama is not in tune w/ his base. He is supposed to END the wars, not send more troops! He has lied to us...where's the 3k bux he promised the people for college? When will Gitmo be closed? LIAR!!!!!!!!!! And to think of all those people who campaigned for him, pounded the pavement for his sorry ass and what has he given them back??? LIES!!!! STINKING LIAR
Of coooooouuuuuuurrrrrrrrse he lied, they all lie to us. They jab with the left and throw haymakers with the right. The left and right are attached to one body that desperately needs both.
American's are stupid. The hysterical mass, intoxicated with the Obama Kool-Aid and their misguided hatred towards George Bush, gave us this debacle of a president.
I hope you idiots who voted for Obama, will now realize the value of understanding the issues before you vote.
you gotta remember he is a politician and politicians lie i liked obama during the campaign he made everything seem good but now im disappointed in him and he aint no different than bush
When obama was campaigning, he spoke in generalities, he promised minimal "change", and he barely challenged the status quo..
he never promised to end the war, or to prosecute torturers, or to protect habeas corpus, or to protect civil liberties, etc..
plus his voting record never showed he was willing to do so..
so what do you expect? anybody who voted for him expecting something different from bush was just wrapped up in his motivational rhetoric and wishful thinking
Before you shout about how dumb everyone else is, you should be aware that you did so with horrible grammar. Every "of" in your post should have been a "have". "Would have" not "would of". People mix those up because of the contraction "would've" sounds like "would of", but it's just a combination of "would" and "have".
Before Nothing! STFu bitch! English is my third language.. its sad how I can teach you a thing or two about your own Nation and what do you have to say? Oh I see you paid attention in your educations system; WHICH ranks what? 33 in the world? yet you somehow believe the might of the US military can outsmart the rest of the world.. You Hitler type of regime is what caused the genocide of Jewish people, now you want to aim at Muslims? u are a monsters' advocate, I hope you rot in lava
Subject opinion to coercion: whom will you make your inquisitors? Fallible men; men governed by bad passions, by private as well as public reasons. And why subject it to coercion? To produce uniformity. But is uniformity of opinion desirable? No more than of face and stature.-- Thomas Jefferson
I was really disappointed when Greg Craig was released. I think it really shows how Obama has really backed down from all of his promises. I am deeply disappointed with him because I supported him for the things that he said in the campaign and he is now backing down cause he's a wimp
xxdonaldqxx: It seems you are overlooking some imperative quotes from arguably our most vital statesman:The Christian God is a being of terrific character - cruel, vindictive, capricious, and unjust...
xxdonaldxx did not overlook anything.Yes it is true Jefferson and Franklin were not Christians but many of the others who signed the constitution were in fact Christians.You won't find a Buddist,Muslim or Hindu's signature on the constitution.
I`d go for "lack of guts" Obama is another version of Blair, coming in after Thatcher, not changing anything. Blair just whined about how the decision to go to war , made at a meeting with Bush at his ranch had Blair talking endlessly & at the end PRESUMING he`d been moderate, not even knowing what he`d agreed to. they`re chronic conformists who believe the system works and so will never change anything.
What the hell did you expect ? That Obama would actually fix everything in no time ? Of course not. This is the sober side of worshiping - a cold fukking shower.
I NEVER understood the fear behind giving them civilian trials. No lawyer in this country is going to want to become the social pariah who acquits even one of these guys.
wes you stupid lil prick...lets apply youre standard of 'lets judge people by what they do' i have always said that no matter what obama says in all his fine and fancy speeches about change, the only thing we need to judge him by is his actions in iraq. thats it....period.
Obama is just like every other President - he is bought by Israel and other Jewish extremists (Goldman Sachs!), has the interests of Wall Street at heart and now he's willing to go into another war for Israel but against Iran. Obama is Jewish-bought shitbag!
Any station that calls Obama "Moderate" is not a legitimate source of news. Another telling sign is taking this long to realize Obama is a two-faced liar. Congrats TYT!
There are 3 branches of govt. Obama doesn't have nearly as many enumerated powers as some give him credit for according to Article 1 of the Constitution. He's not a one man wrecking crew. Gitmo's fate as well as the Afghan war ultimately rests in the hands of Congress, not Obama. Obama's only leverage is applying additional political pressure on them
That's Wes Clark Jr.....Wesley Clark's son!! He's been on the show and comes in and out!! Hey Cenk, if you ever leave for the day, call Wes instead of the others, he's better!!
As for the subject....did you notice Cenk's heart break there?? Listen Cenk....I'm pissed off at Obama too, but let's be frank....I wasn't surprised!!
obama is in a no win situation,if he shuts down guantanamo then the racist right calls obama an islamic arab and a sympethizer& if he doesnt the liberals criticize him for not sticking to his guns and not being more anti-bush
Bush was a dissapointment. A huge one..... As far as obama, like obama was saying americans have to do our part. We can't just constantly complain when we aint doing nothing!! WE have to suggest things, we have to actively be out there and help.
I have studied American Indian history with 14 of the leading professors of the subject in the country. I have lived on five rezs' including Pine Ridge & have been studying Native American history since 1971. In uni I studied American Indian history for 22 quarters & at three separate universities. I have read around 800 books on the specific subject.
Given that very condensed version of my background on the subject of Native American studies I can say with a bit of authority that you are incorrect.
The planned extinction of the North American bison and the genocide of the American Indian race were without-a-doubt conspiracies by the US federal government. The rounding up and institutionalization of the Native American children and the subsequent forced feeding of dairy products was a conspiracy.
The "Indian Trading Posts" that handed out plague & disease infested blankets to infect and kill the Native Americans like hot cakes was a conspiracy. These are all facts.
You should try to assert your authority more in your field and listen to information presented to you by authorities in their own field. If you have questions or doubts about the information presented you then take the time and do the research that they have. I can recommend several good universities and professors.
Last thing; perhaps due to your apparent lack of education you are not aware and/or do not correctly comprehend the actual definition of the word conspiracy. Here, let me help you. Here are several independent definitions from my legal dictionary of the word conspiracy;
I'm well aware of the webster definition, thank you. However within the context of this discussion we're talking about overarching conspiracies where we have "the few" (Government) directly and manipulating the desting of the many (let's say "us here"). You've consisting been throwing out random events as if to indicate "it's all connected" and that Obama is just a part of this cohesive unit of never ending conspirators. This I fundamentally disagree with,
Overthrowing the Kingdom of Hawai'i is no conspiracy, its a fact! The Kanaka Maolis, Native Hawaiians, opposed the overthrow, annexation and statehood of Hawai'i. The average American believes that they "wanted" to join the union when that is far from reality.
Currently, US is building a missile defense system in the Northern Marianas Islands. The issue of Self-Determination has been intentionally push aside by the US government. How about the Marshall Islands?
Each historically documented conspiratorial event (such as the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii, the overthrow of the Americas as well as the overthrow of the Caribbean Islands by the Spaniards) is a fact.
The funny thing about the word conspiracy is that it has been given such a bad rap by the conspirators that even the ones who research and believe the conspiracies have a bad taste in their mouth for the word.
There is nothing wrong with the word conspiracy son. Don't be afraid of it. Every single government that exists today on the face of the earth and every single war that ever began exists and began solely thru pure conspiracy. This is a fact.
That's a theory. It has nothing to do with a conspiracy. Most children understand the difference between fact and theory. Most learn this at a very early age, others do not.
Okay, great. I still don't understand what you anticipate my reaction to be. Am I suppose to crap my pants and cry like you? You claim to have all this history and experience yet you have the temperment of a typical teenager. My views on how Government works, and when it doesn't, is based on more evidence and experience than you seem to think. Just because you cherry pick these events and display them before me doesn't mean my understanding goes flying out the window, got me?
I have no expectations for how anyone will react. I have no control over that. I can only speak for myself and my realizations. I know what the Native Hawaiians and Native Americans are going through. 1/3 of Guam, 1/2 of Tinian and over 200+ acres of Saipan is being used for the military! These islands ARE TINY! Saipan is only fifteen miles long, five miles wide! You can criticize my temperament, how would you react when you have no power? Your only a second-class citizen, a possession.
I am pretty open to discussing ideas. I learn more that way. I really don't know whom you were addressing in your comment to me because I don't remember any previous conversation. Oh well.
I'm not standing up for Indian Genocide, don't misunderstand. What I'm articulating is that Indian Removal and Genocide was supported by the American public. It's an incredible example of the will of the people influencing the actions of the Government, in this case, into committing unforgiveable acts of genocide. However it was called for by local people no different from you or I. I would compare it easily to Nazi Germany, except without a Hitler type leading the extinction.
Again, you've failed to answer my question: so what? What conclusion am I suppose to draw from any of this? That Government doesn't work? That I'm completely f***ed? That Big Brother is going to put a bullet in the back of my head? I guess I'm just not as panicky about things like Watergate, Panama, Air America or KoH as you are. You can't spout events and assume they speak for themselves, that's not an argument, it's a bald assertion. Any who claims to have your schooling would understand.
As I say, if you study the period of Indian Removal it was not an under the table dealing of conspirators, but rather a policy that was generally favored by the American public. There was no "conspiracy", these actions, you list, which I am aware of, were all very well known, very well supported, and the public (much to my chagrin) was overwhelmingly in favor of it. Andrew Jackson, among others wrote letters to the NA cheifs indicating they truly believed these were acts of love; they weren't.
Once again you are incorrect on all counts but the Andrew Jackson statement. I think its time for you to bow out kid. You are in way over your head.
From the beginning the context of my statements was always historically documented factual governmental conspiratorial events. That's all, nice, clean and simple.
From the start you have been talking in circles and spinning. You have gotten to dizzy for me kid. Enjoy.
No Jackson a letter where he referred to the NA as "friends and bretheren" and wished them to "live in peace and harmony" in the "land of their fathers...beyond the Mississippi". It was very moving and conjoling, and in addition to adopting an Indian son (which he tried to send to West Point), it seems to me from his letters (which I've read) he truly believed he was doing the right thing. It was horrific what he did, but he thought it was an act of love.
I can't for the life of me understand why you cannot comprehend that you are in way over your head. You are coming off as some youngster teenage punk perhaps 16 or 19 years of age. You shouldn't attempt to speak with any type of authority of things of which you know only the most primary things.
You are speaking purely from a USDE governmental public school, historical wikipedia-type adolescent viewpoint. It's ridiculous. Then when you are caught you spin the subject.
Your mention of the Trail of Tears, Andrew Jackson and nothing else backs my point completely. I am not talking about removal, reservations and all this surface 10th grade US history bullshit that your small ignorant and uneducated mind continues to dwell on son. I am talking about grande conspiracy by the federal government. I am talking about the elimination of the American bison, the blankets, the institutionalization and the dairy poisoning.
I am talking about the conspiratorial overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii only a couple generation back by the US federal corporation of America.
Again, you're in way too much over your head. You should move onward and upward. Get yourself a good book from the library and take the weekend off. Have beautiful evening. Happy Genocide Day.
@ObamaJoker IDIOT! Hawaii (which I gly to 4 times a month) is WAY better of as the 50th state.
What Genocide Day? TIRED OLD BULL SHIT about American Indians? LOL! IDIOT.
America was explored, settled by advanced cultures, an Italian financed by Spaniards, later settled by Brits & the World. American Indians are AMERICANS, and an important part of our heritage. They get their own sovereign land, college & health care in perpitude. Mistakes where make, but we correct and make right. FU!
"I am talking about grande conspiracy by the federal government. I am talking about the elimination of the American bison, the blankets, the institutionalization and the dairy poisoning."
Okay, yes, you've mentioned these things ad nauseum, what about it? Do you assume that had I studied these events, despite them having NOTHING to do with what I was studying that they'd immediately change my perspective? Are you really that deluded?
Why is the removal the "10th grade history bullsh**"? I guess I find it comical you're downplaying the removal over the "American Bison elimination". The removal was horrifying, one of the bleakest moments in American history...but to you it's bullsh**? That's incredibly offensive.
I was speaking of your attempt to overshadow the conspiracies with the obvious grade-school-level citations of the removal. I was not belittling the removal. But as you say the government believed they were doing a "good" thing. Although I contend thru my direct research that they knew exactly what they were doing, but for sport I will give you that one...
I was speaking primarily of the conspiracies of the elimination of the North American bison- the only source of food and clothing for millions of Native Americans, the conspiracy of giving blankets to smallpox infected hospital patients then handing them out to millions of Native American mothers and children in order to intentionally and infect and slaughter them.
And the US federal corporation's conspiracy to institutionalize each and every Native American child and feed them massive amounts of dairy although the US federal corporation was well aware of their obvious lactose intolerance.
These specific conspiracies were all direct ill-intention genocidal conspiracies on the part of the US federal corporation.
And to conclude this ridiculousness; how quickly you forget to when you ignorantly piped in initially only 24 hours or so ago. You stated (referring to the Native American genocide and the other conspiracies which I cited); "but it's not a conspiracy. That was the nature of the time."
"None of what you listed there is troubling to me, nor do I think it indicates an overshadowing conspiracy, in fact, most of which point to the opposite."
You are the one who stated the atrocities which I listed don't trouble you. You are the offensive one here. The conspiracies, the atrocities, the instances of history which I listed are incredibly offensive and the fact that they don't trouble you and most of the uneducated ignorant population makes me sick.
Most of this debate was disproving you're opening statements again and again, although not necessary as you were shut down in my initial response.
@ObamaJoker WHAT IS YOUR F'ING POINT... Shit HAPPENS.... SO WHAT?
I LOVE America. America is the GREATEST NATION ON EARTH..... USA does MORE GOOD and has done more than ANY COUNTRY for Peace and Stability and Humanity. The culture, technology, medicine, education and science FROM AMERICA benefits the WORLD, and is beyond any comparison...... Not to mention AMERICA is second to NONE in charity and generosity helping strangers ALL OVER THE WORLD. So suck on that. FU!
nothing i dislike more than some uneducated moron being patriotic! There may be a reason countries all over the world dislike the US. Instead of waving flags showing everyone the size of your penis, stop and think a while. Greatest Nation in the world, what is this a competition to you. That careless train of thought is exactly why we are ruining the climate for ourselves, and why I hate calling myself a US citizen. Leave the ego behind, do it for our country.
I always liked Lewis Black little comment about how "other countries [besides America] could be giving sh** away for free".
I think what I appreciate most about America, aside from our landscape, is our potential and our ability to improve and change. That said, our potential is great, our reality often leaves much to be desired.
The problem are idiots like mrstandupforamerica, who take patriotism to a fault. They assume everything is perfect and refuse to grow up. When you assume everything is perfect you stop improving on yourself, and that goes for an entire country.
The potential is there, but dumbasses like this guy are what get in the way of reaching that potential.
@SaviorMachine84 Haha, I suppose so. I don't know how you can be proud of Andrew Jackson myself, as he seemed to indicate. The man was clearly not that bright (ironically I've read several books that paint him as intellectual, I just don't buy it). I am getting a good laugh at the sn: Mr. StandupforAmerica. At least he's sticking to character haha
@Micak51 Uneducated? Idiot, I finished undergrad with honors LSU '85, post-grad, two Masters Physics and Mathematics UW' '91. Shut it troll. Than you talk about my penis? No MAN talks like that, you little shit.
"I hate calling myself a US citizen." - I hate you're a US citizen; LEAVE ASS HOLE. Get out, move PLEASE!
You hate patriotism you little punk. You are a philistine, an ignorant, low IQ, uneducated cretin. Are you gay? Is that it, angry you can get married to your boyfriend?
I think we are the greatest country, however I will admit my belief that we are stems in large part because I live here and I have a stake in whether we are or are not great. I will concede though that "greatest" is not a competitive term: i.e. other nations can have claims on that title and that it is entirely sibjective. America is not number 1 statistically in much of anything.
@TheFortressMaximus %REALLY YOU HAVE A STAKE IN WHAT? Help any one? Charity? Volunteer? Military? Leach-Whiner?
I love American History, read about 30 books on it, especially American Presidents, including Andrew Jackson. You really have a narrow out of context anti-American prospective.
America is not #1? According to UN studies? Bullshit lets dump on America studies that put US below Nigeria for Economic growth? LOL! MORONIC. You never heard anything bad about America you didn't believe.
UN studies are "fairly exhaustive". WHAT KIND OF LIAR ARE YOU? I'm sure you don't know anything about them, nor have a clue how they deriver data or understand statistics that puts Nigeria ahead of America in economic growth. It's designed to stick it to America. They're ludicrously & ridiculously flawed and political to PUNISH the USA, and WE PAY FOR IT! UN is an impotent organization that lets murders, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad holocaust denier and dictator Hugo Chavez spew hate & call America evil.
Now, I don't know much about Nigeria, but those studies aren't fabricating data about that nation's economic growth. Ours isn't incredible right now, if you've been watching the news.
If you look up any one of those studies. And read scholars anaylsis of them, they RIP THEM A NEW ONE...... Do some basic research and Google. You would not be holding up ANYTHING FROM THE UN as well done.
I'm sorry, I seriously couldn't make heads or tails of any of this. Maybe calm down a little and write this intelligibly and I would be glad to write a rational response to the best of my abilities.
@TheFortressMaximus You can NOT say one nice thing about America can you Hater..... you have a disease. You are a troll and worse than a 6 year old. Your arguments are OH YEA...... NO YOU ARE.
Yep I missed it, because every time I say something nice you attack it. Your half hearted insincere comment about YOUR STAKE IN THIS..... was a self serving narcissistic piece of crap pie.
You have ruined my Thanks Giving Mr. Happy Thanks Genocide..... ass hole. You are a dishonest "puptentminimus".
You haven't really made "nice" statements, you've made incorrect statements. I think you're missing the point there. It's okay to love your country, however I'd prefer someone love it for honest reasons. Jefferson, whom you've invoked here, believed dissention was the highest form of patriotism. Loving one's country and rebuking it's actions are not mutually exclusive forms of thought.
Those UN studies hold a lot of weight? HA HA, they are meaningless trivia..... Show me the importance of them please. They are INTERNATIONAL JOKES.
We're the ONLY SUPER POWER and fighting Totalitaran Islamo-Fascist Jihadist Terrorist driven by Jihad & Quran, so we get penalized. Big military and spending? Bottom of the list... We should just have no military or use our influence for our interest. Right?
You are SO LIBERAL Obama is not good enough for you.
Haha I don't see how what I said is Liberal. Republicans use the same data a Democrat would when creating or addressing legislation. Certainly when you're President, whether it's Bush or Obama, you'd want a strong sense of how these countries are performing, etc. Statistics don't lie, they're numbers, not propoganda.
No you are Secular, Liberal/Libertarian/Contrarian, Gay I hate America first.
You are just rebelling for no reason. Have you ever traveled or lived any where else? Do you make a living? Have you left your parents house ever? How old are you.... May be you should live life and contribute and shut up. When you have some original ideas and thoughts and can contribute..... than we will listen.
I would definitely say I'm secular. Our founders were secular; I'm certainly not Libertarian though, haha, or Gay. Do I make a living, yes I do. I don't feel comfortable discussing my age with people on the internet if that's alright with you...I like to think I do "live life and contribute", do you?
FOUNDERS FATHERS WERE NOT SECULAR. The nation was settled by puritans and TODAY is 80% Christian. Get over it. Founding Fathers were Theist, Deist and the most argent anti-Religion guys Ben Franklin & Thomas Jefferson had respect for Jesus Christ (but contempt for the Church of England, rightly so).
Franklin: "As to Jesus Christ, I think his system of Morals and wisdom are the finest mankind has ever seen."
Jefferson admire of Biblical Law & Morals he made his own Bible with just that.
@gmcjetpilot Jefferson did have a Bible, and a Qu'ran. He ripped the pages out of his Bible that didn't make sense to him, and he was left with only a few pages when he was finished. Ben Franklin was almost certainly an atheist, said clergy could never convince him to believe. However being secular and having respect for Jesus is not mutually exclusive. Deism is secular though. It assumes there was a first cause, but that the first cause is unknown and not necessarily a God.

And if you are worried that you might have to blast someone with a shotgun for trespassing your property, that means your country is full of poor, uneducated people, who, at the same time, are probably economically exploited by those they have to steal from.
Maurofelixful 1 year ago
@Maurofelixful
See: Pat Condell and Geert Wilders.

what sold me on barack obama was two things. of course, a republican's snot in the equation.

Apart from print money (which effectively raids the middle class's savings) and give it to bankers.
tonyciv4 2 years ago 2
Also, no one is talking about this, but if you bothered to read bloomberg a month ago Obama is etching out the plans for another free trade, this time wiht South Korea. In a deep recession, almost depression, he is enacting policy that guarantee the shipping of jobs offshore and an increase in the trade deficit. It will lead to lower wages, higher inflation, lower GDP, higher unemployment, and higher debt(public and private).

ObamaJoker 2 years ago
Given that very condensed version of my background on the subject of Native American studies I can say with a bit of authority that you are incorrect.
The planned extinction of the North American bison and the genocide of the American Indian race were without-a-doubt conspiracies by the US federal government. The rounding up and institutionalization of the Native American children and the subsequent forced feeding of dairy products was a conspiracy.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
The "Indian Trading Posts" that handed out plague & disease infested blankets to infect and kill the Native Americans like hot cakes was a conspiracy. These are all facts.
You should try to assert your authority more in your field and listen to information presented to you by authorities in their own field. If you have questions or doubts about the information presented you then take the time and do the research that they have. I can recommend several good universities and professors.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
By-the-way; how's your research on the conspiracy to overthrow the Kingdom of Hawaii going? Or was that not a conspiracy either chump?
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
Last thing; perhaps due to your apparent lack of education you are not aware and/or do not correctly comprehend the actual definition of the word conspiracy. Here, let me help you. Here are several independent definitions from my legal dictionary of the word conspiracy;
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
Conspiracy;
1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.
2. An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action.
3. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
I'm well aware of the webster definition, thank you. However within the context of this discussion we're talking about overarching conspiracies where we have "the few" (Government) directly and manipulating the desting of the many (let's say "us here"). You've consisting been throwing out random events as if to indicate "it's all connected" and that Obama is just a part of this cohesive unit of never ending conspirators. This I fundamentally disagree with,
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
Overthrowing the Kingdom of Hawai'i is no conspiracy, its a fact! The Kanaka Maolis, Native Hawaiians, opposed the overthrow, annexation and statehood of Hawai'i. The average American believes that they "wanted" to join the union when that is far from reality.
Currently, US is building a missile defense system in the Northern Marianas Islands. The issue of Self-Determination has been intentionally push aside by the US government. How about the Marshall Islands?
nesianboy 2 years ago
Each historically documented conspiratorial event (such as the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii, the overthrow of the Americas as well as the overthrow of the Caribbean Islands by the Spaniards) is a fact.
The funny thing about the word conspiracy is that it has been given such a bad rap by the conspirators that even the ones who research and believe the conspiracies have a bad taste in their mouth for the word.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
There is nothing wrong with the word conspiracy son. Don't be afraid of it. Every single government that exists today on the face of the earth and every single war that ever began exists and began solely thru pure conspiracy. This is a fact.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
I'm not afraid of the word conspiracy, you are.

That's a theory. It has nothing to do with a conspiracy. Most children understand the difference between fact and theory. Most learn this at a very early age, others do not.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
Okay, great. I still don't understand what you anticipate my reaction to be. Am I suppose to crap my pants and cry like you? You claim to have all this history and experience yet you have the temperment of a typical teenager. My views on how Government works, and when it doesn't, is based on more evidence and experience than you seem to think. Just because you cherry pick these events and display them before me doesn't mean my understanding goes flying out the window, got me?
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
I have no expectations for how anyone will react. I have no control over that. I can only speak for myself and my realizations. I know what the Native Hawaiians and Native Americans are going through. 1/3 of Guam, 1/2 of Tinian and over 200+ acres of Saipan is being used for the military! These islands ARE TINY! Saipan is only fifteen miles long, five miles wide! You can criticize my temperament, how would you react when you have no power? Your only a second-class citizen, a possession.

TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
Again, you've failed to answer my question: so what? What conclusion am I suppose to draw from any of this? That Government doesn't work? That I'm completely f***ed? That Big Brother is going to put a bullet in the back of my head? I guess I'm just not as panicky about things like Watergate, Panama, Air America or KoH as you are. You can't spout events and assume they speak for themselves, that's not an argument, it's a bald assertion. Any who claims to have your schooling would understand.
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
As I say, if you study the period of Indian Removal it was not an under the table dealing of conspirators, but rather a policy that was generally favored by the American public. There was no "conspiracy", these actions, you list, which I am aware of, were all very well known, very well supported, and the public (much to my chagrin) was overwhelmingly in favor of it. Andrew Jackson, among others wrote letters to the NA cheifs indicating they truly believed these were acts of love; they weren't.
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
Once again you are incorrect on all counts but the Andrew Jackson statement. I think its time for you to bow out kid. You are in way over your head.
From the beginning the context of my statements was always historically documented factual governmental conspiratorial events. That's all, nice, clean and simple.
From the start you have been talking in circles and spinning. You have gotten to dizzy for me kid. Enjoy.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
No Jackson a letter where he referred to the NA as "friends and bretheren" and wished them to "live in peace and harmony" in the "land of their fathers...beyond the Mississippi". It was very moving and conjoling, and in addition to adopting an Indian son (which he tried to send to West Point), it seems to me from his letters (which I've read) he truly believed he was doing the right thing. It was horrific what he did, but he thought it was an act of love.
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
I can't for the life of me understand why you cannot comprehend that you are in way over your head. You are coming off as some youngster teenage punk perhaps 16 or 19 years of age. You shouldn't attempt to speak with any type of authority of things of which you know only the most primary things.
You are speaking purely from a USDE governmental public school, historical wikipedia-type adolescent viewpoint. It's ridiculous. Then when you are caught you spin the subject.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
Your mention of the Trail of Tears, Andrew Jackson and nothing else backs my point completely. I am not talking about removal, reservations and all this surface 10th grade US history bullshit that your small ignorant and uneducated mind continues to dwell on son. I am talking about grande conspiracy by the federal government. I am talking about the elimination of the American bison, the blankets, the institutionalization and the dairy poisoning.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
I am talking about the conspiratorial overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii only a couple generation back by the US federal corporation of America.
Again, you're in way too much over your head. You should move onward and upward. Get yourself a good book from the library and take the weekend off. Have beautiful evening. Happy Genocide Day.

TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
@ObamaJoker
Why is the removal the "10th grade history bullsh**"? I guess I find it comical you're downplaying the removal over the "American Bison elimination". The removal was horrifying, one of the bleakest moments in American history...but to you it's bullsh**? That's incredibly offensive.
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
I was speaking of your attempt to overshadow the conspiracies with the obvious grade-school-level citations of the removal. I was not belittling the removal. But as you say the government believed they were doing a "good" thing. Although I contend thru my direct research that they knew exactly what they were doing, but for sport I will give you that one...
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
I was speaking primarily of the conspiracies of the elimination of the North American bison- the only source of food and clothing for millions of Native Americans, the conspiracy of giving blankets to smallpox infected hospital patients then handing them out to millions of Native American mothers and children in order to intentionally and infect and slaughter them.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
And the US federal corporation's conspiracy to institutionalize each and every Native American child and feed them massive amounts of dairy although the US federal corporation was well aware of their obvious lactose intolerance.
These specific conspiracies were all direct ill-intention genocidal conspiracies on the part of the US federal corporation.
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
And to conclude this ridiculousness; how quickly you forget to when you ignorantly piped in initially only 24 hours or so ago. You stated (referring to the Native American genocide and the other conspiracies which I cited); "but it's not a conspiracy. That was the nature of the time."
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
You also stated (also pertaining to the conspiracies and atrocities which I initially listed);
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
"None of what you listed there is troubling to me, nor do I think it indicates an overshadowing conspiracy, in fact, most of which point to the opposite."
ObamaJoker 2 years ago
You are the one who stated the atrocities which I listed don't trouble you. You are the offensive one here. The conspiracies, the atrocities, the instances of history which I listed are incredibly offensive and the fact that they don't trouble you and most of the uneducated ignorant population makes me sick.
Most of this debate was disproving you're opening statements again and again, although not necessary as you were shut down in my initial response.

@Micak51, I see you're another dink from Canada.
The USA became a great nation because for many years the USA refused to be like the rest of the world.
It's when the government stated trying to make the USA more like the rest of the world the USA started to decline.
Making the USA the same as the rest of the 3rd world euro countries, pretty much shot the USA down.
Times come to ship all these dinks and gays to europe for that's all Europe has to offer.
Better yet send them to Canada.
MrSTANDFORAMERICA 2 years ago
that's has to be the dumbest statement i've read this whole week.
America is awesome because they chose to be different?
First of all what makes every other country the same? What standards are you evaluating things by? You don't even know what you're talking about
You're a moron, time to ship ignorant asshats like you to mars.

@SaviorMachine84
I always liked Lewis Black little comment about how "other countries [besides America] could be giving sh** away for free".
I think what I appreciate most about America, aside from our landscape, is our potential and our ability to improve and change. That said, our potential is great, our reality often leaves much to be desired.
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
The problem are idiots like mrstandupforamerica, who take patriotism to a fault. They assume everything is perfect and refuse to grow up. When you assume everything is perfect you stop improving on yourself, and that goes for an entire country.
The potential is there, but dumbasses like this guy are what get in the way of reaching that potential.
SaviorMachine84 2 years ago
@SaviorMachine84 Haha, I suppose so. I don't know how you can be proud of Andrew Jackson myself, as he seemed to indicate. The man was clearly not that bright (ironically I've read several books that paint him as intellectual, I just don't buy it). I am getting a good laugh at the sn: Mr. StandupforAmerica. At least he's sticking to character haha

@gmcjetpilot
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
@TheFortressMaximus %REALLY YOU HAVE A STAKE IN WHAT? Help any one? Charity? Volunteer? Military? Leach-Whiner?
I love American History, read about 30 books on it, especially American Presidents, including Andrew Jackson. You really have a narrow out of context anti-American prospective.
America is not #1? According to UN studies? Bullshit lets dump on America studies that put US below Nigeria for Economic growth? LOL! MORONIC. You never heard anything bad about America you didn't believe.
gmcjetpilot 2 years ago
The UN studies are fairly exhaustive, I mean, if you wanna study American politics those studies hold a lot of weight.
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
UN studies are "fairly exhaustive". WHAT KIND OF LIAR ARE YOU? I'm sure you don't know anything about them, nor have a clue how they deriver data or understand statistics that puts Nigeria ahead of America in economic growth. It's designed to stick it to America. They're ludicrously & ridiculously flawed and political to PUNISH the USA, and WE PAY FOR IT! UN is an impotent organization that lets murders, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad holocaust denier and dictator Hugo Chavez spew hate & call America evil.
gmcjetpilot 2 years ago
@gmcjetpilot
Now, I don't know much about Nigeria, but those studies aren't fabricating data about that nation's economic growth. Ours isn't incredible right now, if you've been watching the news.
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
@TheFortressMaximus And and the rest of the World followed and is Worse. Your point. YOU SEEM TO REVEL IN AMERICAS FAILURES?
gmcjetpilot 2 years ago
@TheFortressMaximus
If you look up any one of those studies. And read scholars anaylsis of them, they RIP THEM A NEW ONE...... Do some basic research and Google. You would not be holding up ANYTHING FROM THE UN as well done.
The Study" WHO NOT A SUPER POWER?
See America is last again.

I'm sorry, I seriously couldn't make heads or tails of any of this. Maybe calm down a little and write this intelligibly and I would be glad to write a rational response to the best of my abilities.

@TheFortressMaximus - American inventions: telephone, transistors, TV, jet airliner, nuke energy, microwave oven, com-satellites, LED, smoke detector, PC-GUI-mouse-Internet-digital music-MP3, MRI, GPS, scanning microscope, polymerase reaction, DNA/genetics, cell phone, countless medical, medicine drug miracles, xerography, microprocessor, IC-integrated chip, penicillin, countless advances: space, astronomy, chemistry, medicine, engineering, art, music, movies, culture & humanitarianism.

@gmcjetpilot
Okay, so what? There's a lot of foreign inventions too.

@TheFortressMaximus You can NOT say one nice thing about America can you Hater..... you have a disease. You are a troll and worse than a 6 year old. Your arguments are OH YEA...... NO YOU ARE.

@gmcjetpilot
I thought that I had said some nice things about America throughout this discussion, perhaps you missed them?
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
@TheFortressMaximus
Yep I missed it, because every time I say something nice you attack it. Your half hearted insincere comment about YOUR STAKE IN THIS..... was a self serving narcissistic piece of crap pie.
You have ruined my Thanks Giving Mr. Happy Thanks Genocide..... ass hole. You are a dishonest "puptentminimus".
gmcjetpilot 2 years ago
@gmcjetpilot
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
@gmcjetpilot Good.
I'm glad your sick,little "Thanksgiving Fetish" you desire to hold in honour of all the nice dead Redskins has been "ruined".
I only wish it could be ruined for all people who "celebrate the goodness of colonial genocide."
Couldn't have happened to a sweeter bunch.
Enjoy Pepsi,Dickhead.

@TheFortressMaximus
Right?
You are SO LIBERAL Obama is not good enough for you.
gmcjetpilot 2 years ago
@gmcjetpilot
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
@TheFortressMaximus
When you have some original ideas and thoughts and can contribute..... than we will listen.
gmcjetpilot 2 years ago
@gmcjetpilot
I would definitely say I'm secular. Our founders were secular; I'm certainly not Libertarian though, haha, or Gay. Do I make a living, yes I do. I don't feel comfortable discussing my age with people on the internet if that's alright with you...I like to think I do "live life and contribute", do you?
TheFortressMaximus 2 years ago
FOUNDERS FATHERS WERE NOT SECULAR. The nation was settled by puritans and TODAY is 80% Christian. Get over it. Founding Fathers were Theist, Deist and the most argent anti-Religion guys Ben Franklin & Thomas Jefferson had respect for Jesus Christ (but contempt for the Church of England, rightly so).
Franklin: "As to Jesus Christ, I think his system of Morals and wisdom are the finest mankind has ever seen."
Jefferson admire of Biblical Law & Morals he made his own Bible with just that.
gmcjetpilot 2 years ago
@gmcjetpilot Jefferson did have a Bible, and a Qu'ran. He ripped the pages out of his Bible that didn't make sense to him, and he was left with only a few pages when he was finished. Ben Franklin was almost certainly an atheist, said clergy could never convince him to believe. However being secular and having respect for Jesus is not mutually exclusive. Deism is secular though. It assumes there was a first cause, but that the first cause is unknown and not necessarily a God.
