thanks so much for the walkthrough. for those of us who can only visit disneyworld every 6 years or so, we miss these awesome displays so this has been a real treat
I heard music from little mermaid, pochahntas(just around the river bed at 3:41), finding nemo toy story, bugs life, I am really excited to see tangled!thanks for the video :)
If Alan Menken's doing the music for this movie, why aren't they using any music from the movie and instead just recycling the old classic music? You're not helping prove the nay-sayers wrong Disney
Thank for posting this. I am an artist and very interested in how the artists create the drawings for animation. I wish I could have seen this display in person but this wonderful video made me feel like I was there.
I've been looking forward to this movie for years now-I'm so happy Alan Menken is doing the music, and I think the animation is beautiful-I love 2D, but you just can't get the same depth and detail as you can with this animation. It's about time we had a CGI fairytale-Walt Disney would have loved it, he was an innovater who embraced new technology. And I think it's a shame that some people are judging this 90 minute movie based on 90 SECONDS worth of trailers.
this movie looks REALLY DUMB! its not even close to the original Rapunzle story! I don't think I am going to waste my money this one! and that computer animation is really ugly! Hand drawn animation is the best for Disney movies! They need to go back to that! I have a great story idea for them if they want a GOOD fairy tale like they used to do, the TRADITIONAL WAY!
@maleficentdiva Actually it's quite traditional of Disney to twist the story, just after you watch the movie you'll see the the concept of the story of Rapunzel is there ;) I agree it should be a 2D but we've never seen a princess movie in 3D so why not give it a chance!
@YellowCrownFilms Well in my opnion the best movies Disney made are Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, they are examples of the traditional fairy tale. They both were hand drawn animation, great story lines, both have dynamic villains ( Maleficent and The Queen) and from looking at clips from Tangled, I just don't think is has the same magic that the other two do. I am a traditionalist when it comes to fairy tales, after a fairy tale should be timeless, that is what they are to be.
@maleficentdiva Let's face it, how often does Disney get "close" to the original story of anything? Peter Pan, Pinocchio, the Little Mermaid, Hunchback, (just to name a few) are all good examples of Disney taking a classic tale and pretty much going their own way with it (and often making them better) This seems no different to me so far
They should have just moved the Toy Story 3 display to another room. It was so good. Too bad I went back in 2009, before Toy Story 3's release. I would have loved to been there for all the Toy Story-related things going on in the Parks when it came out.
I hear A Bug's Life music at 0:16

I have to say, I'm really excited for this movie.
More for the fact they brought back Alan Menken.
But overall I'm disappointed in 3D.
Hand drawn is just so much more classic.

@maleficentdiva Well, from what I've heard, Disney has peen poorly promoting this. Making it look like a Shrek film when it's actually anything but
