LOL. Roh gets a state hero's welcome by Kim Jongil bc Roh's wife's father was a NK spy who was arrested, jailed and then died in prison bc he wouldn't recant allegiance to North Korea. That and the fact that Roh and Kim Daejoong pumped several billion to Kim Jongil, money that Kim Jongil used to fund his nuclear warheads while letting 6 million of his own people starve. Welcome to the Kim and Roh clusterfuck.

Such a small country is forced to fail when it is not allowed to trade with outside world. Trade isolation is more destructive for economy then communism.

The trade isolation is North Korea's own policy, and it's held aloft as the nation's founding principle.
It seems to me that Kim is more interested in living his fantasy life as the "great leader" than delivering on the promises of freedom and liberty highlighted in the DPRK's constitution.
I hope the people in North Korea will see happier days without the cost of further bloodshed.

How many of these people must starve to death to prove that Stalinism has failed everything it has touched?
What I do not understand at this point in history, is how a progressivly Communist state like the PRC (which has moved towards and embraced capitalism) can support such a backward failure as the DPRK.
