The animation is better on the Amiga and the music too. The other funny thing is that there does not appear to be a timer on completing the level on the Amiga version but there is on the SNES version? To be fair games from the 80's & 90's were not designed with specific superior AI like the games of today, they were made for entertainment. Another cool game from 1995 on the PC was Crusader No Remorse, superb game and awsome music :)

Did you try the Amiga version of this game? It's a lot better! Maybe the graphics aren't as good, i don't know. But it's a lot more fun, and the music doesn't make it worse, fuckin awesome it was.
