One Wish is a wonderful CD and, of all her CDs, this is the one that comes closest to giving one the feeling of hearing WH singing live. It's not overproduced or a patchwork of multiple performances which is what many of today's "singers" do on their CDs.

Oh, and for the record, Whitney Houston's versions of O Holy Night (Cantique de Noel) and O Come O Come Emanuelle, are untouchable. AMAZING.

Re: Whitney Houston's "Do You Hear What I hear" performance. YES - her voice MUST touch a part of our brains. I have always thought the EXACT same thing. Maybe it's the frequency of her vocals that increases dopamine or serotonin output. Her voice is like a drug. I can listen to her all day and it's hard to break away from. Almost as if she was genetically engineered to be beautiful and sound beautiful. One in billion.
