I have a 500-character max on this message, so I can't even point out 10% of what's wrong with these garbage announcers. I'll pay $10,000 for each of their heads, no questions asked.
Phinl ivey the kind of player he is i would not be surprize to know if he knew queen high was best best so ya all u mother fuker who think jackson should have gone all in then he would have lost everything simple
@sneak108 but he didn't know he has the best hand... he had nothing... even if Jackson had pocket 2's he had a better hand at that moment... so he was bluffing...
wtf jackson had position... he so should have gone all in... bad play by him. u gotta think, either phil has the J and calls me or he doesnt... 50% 50% - also he should have known phil doesnt have the J cuz he prolly woulda checked when the flop came to pretend weakness.
@JazBlogShow what are you on about... Jackson had a 5/6.. he had nothing, it's not 50/50... they both had nothing but Ivey had a Queen.. so if he went all in...Ivey had the much better chance at winning.... you don't waste 380k on 5/6 when there's nothing on the table... plus Ivey had much more chips so had nothing to lose really... while Jackson would have been eliminated...
@fiddyxxx when you do a bluff it doesnt matter what the fuck you have, all that matters is that the other guy doesnt call duh... so what the fuck ARE YOU talkin about

Ungar faced off against Mansour Matloubi in a series of $50,000 buy-in no limit hold'em heads-up freezeout events. On the final hand of the game, Matloubi tried to bluff Stuey all-in for $32,000 on the river with a board of 3-3-7-K-Q. Ungar, who held 10-9, thought for a few seconds and said to Matloubi, "You have 4-5 or 5-6 so I'm gonna call you with this" and flipped over his 10-high to win the pot and bust Matloubi, who in fact held exactly what Ungar said he did

pretty easy bluff i think its a standard play not that hard really if you think about it phil knew he had the best hand just get your money in when you're ahead its that simple
@trenis with the hand he had? I see what you mean, to make Ivey fold but still it's not worth the chance. Ivey had much more chips, he could have easily matched Jacksons chips and still have more... you don't go all in after the second raise, shows he's nervous his first bluff got caught out, if you got a good hand you raise it slightly, or even check and wait for your opponent to raise, so you can get the maximum amount of chips without your opponent folding.... Jackon just misjudged Ivey...
@Zodion89 Guys the point foreverguga's tryin to make is that a BET is not the same as a RAISE. Ivey's initial bet was just that, a bet - when you raise the initial bet its not a REraise its just a raise. The commentator made a mistake when he said Jackson reraised Ivey's initial bet.

If someone bets, you can raise
If someone raises, you can reraise
You can't REraise a bet..
I hate it when poker hosts use the wrong terminology as if it is a ten dollar game. Gabe Kaplan is one of the few who knows what he is talking about

@foreverguga its considered a raise if you bet first. the initial bet on the go around is zero, since no one is obliged to bet.
