SCV, there's a thing I'd like to point out. If you're doing that thing on a more detailed background, using a fg>trans would look.. Stupid.. So here's another way: Make a new layer, do gradient up>down and Alfa-Selection that layer. Invert, go to reflection layer, and click delete! Works great, looks great, and is easy ;)
