im having trouble on one thing when i do my brickfilms i use an LED light but when i go threw my pictures the light quality changes its really annoying and do u think u could help?
@JimA73 advice: Don't use LED. They pulse. And camera shutters will not be consistant. Instead go with Icandescent or halligan bulbs. Some florescents are fine too. LED=BAD. thanks for bring it up though.
I need help with lighting, i have 2 lamps, one is natural light (orangy glow) and another one is a bright ish one. I blacked out all my windows and I still get alot of flickr can you help? One of the reasons is the crappy fame capture program and i have a quickcampro 9000 for mac which is autofocus. Are there any GOOD free fram capture programs for mac? I use frame by frame
ok this is A REALLY IMPORTANT question:when i make my films sometimes the light is too bright and it glares the scene, i got these shaded bulbs, but it did not really fix the problem. any sugestions????? pls reply! =D
hey... could you tell me how to fix this problem i have... sometimes during filming, the lighting (when i look through camera view) goes a bright yellow and orange color, and then i have a lot of light flicker. do you know how to fix all this?
Thanks for the tips I find these tutorials very useful. Are you going to do one on matching animation with audio? I find that the hardest thing to do.
@csavoy1 haha yes, but that's a bad habit to get into. "fixing it in post" is one of the worst and most expensive way to solve issues. Plus I haven't got into After Effects which is too expensive for most people and requires advanced computer knowledge.
what if ure camera just SUCKS!? On the screen of my camera, the lighting looks perfect! But once I take the picture, the camera adds even more white to the picture and then it looks horrible!! Any suggestions? cause I can't afford to buy a new camera...
My webcam gives off a bad quality, and lighting doesn't change it.

My camera has it's own lighting system where it gives off light itself.

It's very good news that those very powerful lamps are not needed in a small stop motion environment. I was considering buying one or two.

@beeniestudios it could be auto white balance or auto AE. Make sure everything is set to manual on the camera. See if that fixes it.
