Sarcastic... MP's need Tax Credits and Income Support to Help them out with there tiny Budget... Yer Get the Tax Paying Suckers to pay for it and blame the Unemployed and Poor and Sick.
Hang on have I missed something? We people pay for our mortgage/rent from our salary. The MPs get their mortgages paid for them, in addition to their salary?
MPS horrible cunts all of them ! these theiving, lying bastards need shooting let alone locking up. None of them give a fuck about the people or this country which is crumbling right before our eyes. They send our troops to fight a bankers war who don't even have the right equipment whilst they are claiming expenses and fiddling every penny they can for their life of luxury !! You are all scum and you are fucking disgrace to this once great nation. You could'nt run a bath let alone a country
we should all vote for a party that is pro-smaller government, voting for the conservaties in order to throw labour out of office will achieve nothing,
EVERYONE ONE NEEDS TO REMEMBER THIS LOT COME ELECTION TIME.....THIS ISSUE HAS PARTLY BEEN FORGOTEN DUE TO SOME REAL NEWS STORIES AND I THINK THAT THIS ISSUE HAS WENT UNADDRESSED BY THIS MOB OF FRAUDULENT ARSEHOLESSS...kEEP THIS ISSUE AT ALIVE,,,,,,,,,,,,
benefit cheats, yet these politicians are suppossed to be representing the communities that voted them nto t power..NO they think they can watch blue movies, buy designer gear...they'reaware theyre ripping the public purse. tosay it was an oversight is garbage..they knew what they were doing. They should be voted OUT as they have not a shred of backbone amoung them....Harman,Bleers Smiths of the world shouldnt be in charge of a game of bingo
What a bunch of leeching thieves these MP's are. For us mere human's not robbing the tax payer, if we say" I am sorry it was an oversight, I will repay it" we would stil be charged with theft, ignorance being no excuse as they say, but MP's are Teflon - nothing will stick to them. I did not vote for a major party in Euro elections. For the record, I am Scottish and hate Gordon Brown as much as anyone else too!!
how many of these parasitical mps do you think will be charged with any exe's crimes NIL but if it was us we would be jailed.dirty fuckin parasites all of them............................ps i fuckin detest that dirty thieving ginger dwarf HAZEL BLEARS hang them all.............
Nice one Gordon. Now that all these MPs are going to listen to us peasants, (Oh yeh!)your cabinet is full of people dragged out of the unelected Lords, the Brussels gravy train, and some who should have been in the prison had they been normal fraudsters.Still we have the satisfaction that Mandy is right behind you now! ( He's behind you!!!)
In my opinion, the worst thing is that all these years they've been expressing concern about the under-priveliged and claiming to understand how difficult it is to make ends meet.
All the while wondering if they should claim for those effing peanuts they scoffed the other night.....tossers!
The MPs Expenses scandal is disgraceful- particularly with the double standards promoted by the Government and opposition- but I do sympathise with those members and councillors who are innocent and being tarred with the same brush (Alan Johnson and Ann Widdecombe for instance) Those who are giving prospective councillors a hard time have no ground for doing so.
You swallow the lies though you KNOW they are lying and they know iyou KNOW
it but you are so stupid you go on and
elect them. anyway
Dont blame the MPs 'cause like you they want the most they can get for the least effort. If it takes the skill to con idiots into thinking your "gods gift", then so be it.
not to be blunt but. . . .. . bunch of f***ing tosser's letting the very country that made them rot and go to waste these claiming mp's are about as smart as my morning dump! - In their hands Britain is truley F***ed their to busey worying about personal image and internal arguments about who the gayest faction (BMP) happens to be. Hate the lot of them and they deserve all the s**t their getting
We need (A) revolution their all bent as a 2 bob note and want to get in the Lords, send them a leaping preferably off beachy head. same goes for the bankers
Listen, this crowd are at it like no one`s business.Remember Derek Conway who was found guilty over 6 Months ago,he is still drawing his pay,his wife`s pay,his two layabout son`s pay and believe it or not they are ALL due a pension.
i don't see anything wrong with it,what's all the fuss about?people like sir john viggers have every right to claim for what they can, everybody would if they could it's all just jealousy from the working classes.have you any idea of how much a moat costs to keep clean?then spare a thought for poor douglas hogg who is a gentleman i can tell you because i've had the honour and privelage to meet him,and his moat which is enormous costs a fortune to upkeep.
How is it jealousy. It is my fucking tax money that they are messing about with. If I missed a pound of my council tax they bombard me with documents that they will be taking me to court. If the moat is enormous then why is it our responsibility. These guys get homes for free and a massive check every month. Why should I pay for cleaning a moat or buying a message chair from my £8.00 an hour. It really is not fair.
you really ought to have more respect for a pier like Douglas Hogg or Lord Hogg soon to be i sincerely hope.He has huge expenses for the upkeep of his home which believe you me is the size of a small castle and costs a hell of a lot to upkeep.I understand your frustratiion but that does not negate the fact that the likes of Douglas Anthony and sir Peter are very very hard working men who have given there all for this country and whom you ought to show a little more respect and gratification
Well to me they have not really done a good job. The economy as in a very bad shape. I am struggling to pay my university fees. And the company I am working part for is losing and I could be out in any minute. Why should I even respect them. These thieves including Douglas Anthony, Hazel Blears and Jacqui Smith should all be sacked.
HANG THEM ALL NOW!!!!LOUSY HYPORCRITICAL BACKSTABBING ,ROBBING,LYING,CHEATING ,PARASITIC,LAZY BUNCH OF OUT OF TOUCH CROOKS!As FOR HAVING A SECOND HOME >I`D LIKE TO HAVE ONE HOME CUNTS
the number 1 offence you can commit in the house of commons is to bring the house in to disrepute, and loads of them are guilty of that offence, but its seems the same mps who are not bankrupt when it comes to money are bankrupt when it come to morals.
Well done 2 Ms Brooke for lifting the lid on this debacle There should be jail sentences for these fraudulent claims. Every time i hear Harriet Harman defend the likes of Hazel Blears and co on TV making a mockery and disrespecting working families that struggle to feed their kids and lead any kind of a sustainable life! £200 for a fecking hotel! Soldiers who serve this country better than u lot face being homeless, but you find it ok to smile & say 'ive done nothing wrong' disgraceful
I'm self employed i bought some cheap towels for my business (approx 20 quid) to dry my hands at the end of the day. I put a claim in at the end of the tax year and the claim against my tax was flatly refused! Ms Bears is a cunt!!! fuck of and die I live on the fucking bread line because of you and your labour cronies economic fuck up
let`s get this right... they were not BLATANT CRIMES! but ~ ........... "errors" and "mistakes". they didn`t know what they were doing. now let them get on with running the country ...... INTO THE GROUND!
well if you want to see 20 i would keep it quite that your a labour supporter.you dont mind then that half the cabinet have ben fiddling there expenses.your quite happy to obey rules and regulations made by people who have 3 or 4 propertys paid for by the taxpayer and aqquired them by dishonesty.you think its ok to support people like this.get real you stupid cunt
I don't support labour, and remember its not just the Labour party who are claiming superfluous expenses. Also, people take things from their work place all the time, MPs just do it on a grander scale, if you were 'entitled' to £4800 of food a year, don't tell me you wouldn't take it. As for 3 to 4 properties - well its only 2 in most cases, and yes its payed for by tax payers but there are probably 40,000,000 tax payers, what do think that works out as on an individual basis?
when you are an mp you should treat it as a privelage to serve the people, not an excuse to rob them.you have to remember that rules governing house sales and purchases that apply to you and i havent been applied to them.if your caught doing something wrong you try going to court and use the excuses that these cunts have given
Your a twat! I remember 3 day weeks, strikes all across the country by dust bin collectors etc; back in the 70"s due to a Labour Governement's poor leadership. The new conservative government under Maggie inherited a massive unemployment problem that was bestowed upon the UK by Labour! Labour throughout the 80's constantly harked on about the unemployment problem blaming the Torries and tried in vane to pin it on the Torries; even though it was due to the
previous labour government! your obviously young and certainly stupid! you should listen to people like bittenof you might learn something about the world around you and eventually see through the schooled indoctrination you've been educated into over the long long long past ten years!!
Did you know Britain has one of the lowest unemployment rates in Europe? Clearly you didn't. It stands at around 4 - 4.5% which is considerably less than Italy's, Germany's, and the French (all comparibable in economic status).
I loved you're great use of evidence by the way when you poorly attempted to blame unemployment on the previous Labour Government. Have you even attempted to consider to massive loss of jobs in the mining industry as a result of Magret Thatcher!
think you will find that the selby coalfield closed under labour.think you will find unemployment is over 8%.think you will find a wanker if you look in the mirror.think you should fuck off and stop annoying the grown ups on here.
think you will find that the selby coalfield closed under labour.think you will find unemployment is over 8%.think you will find a wanker if you look in the mirror.think you should fuck off and stop annoying the grown ups on here.
britains most modern coalfield, selby, closed under a labour goverment, rover closed under a labour goverment, firms that are decades old are closing under a labour goverment.have you ever considerd boiling your own head????
WRONG! Those manipulated Government figues do not take into account of the lazy bone idol career benefit fraudsters, or the people milking the 'off work due to ill health' fraudsters, or illegals we keep. There are in truth and reality around 5 -6 million people unemployed in the UK now! that takes the UK into top bracket I would say! Most Miners from the 80's were given pakages that retrained many of them and those who didn't were compensated by means of redundancy! You know nothing!!!
Further I don't need falsified government statistics to prove anything I've lived and seen it mate! experience counts for everything!!! I have a mate who works in the Met who's sole job is to manipulate Government stats on crime figures! he places crimes into different brackets in an attempt to make it look like Labour are dealing with particular types of electioneering vote grabbing stats; giving an impression they are dealing with the problem! I don't government stats to prove that one!!!!
And what about New Labours 1998 maifesto policy they came to power on that was to make it illegal to own a second home? The spoils of war hey! With HER Royal highness; Tony blair owning 5 (before he left office) not too mention his wifes 'Bristol flats' for sale scam! Two Jags with at least 2 etc. etc. the list can go on. And me well I can't even afford a to buy!! Thanks New Labour!!!! you Pricks
Ok, where to start with this little lot. Firstly, Bittenof, no the employment rate is not 8%. Secondly, "Selby" was a "modern" mine - how many mines do recon there once were in the UK? I'm very confident it was more than 1. In fact Margret Thatcher was responsible for the collapse of 146 mining communities. "Selby" doesn't look too significant now does it?
Ripper36068 - I love the way you consider you arbitrary numbers to me more accurate than government statistics; "5 - 6million", its really lovely guess work. Do you think the unemployment rates in Italy, Germany and France take into account their "lazy bone idol career benefit fraudsters"? No they don't, and hence our unemployment rate remains good on relative standards.
1stly Germany's poulation is around the 100 million mark, they will per head of population have more unemployment! My guess work is actually clever thinking by lumping all the millions of people who refuse to work for one reason or another into one basket; the Umeployed! this where myself and Bittenof arived at our figures being the true extent! If you read my passage on labour stats of manipulation you'd realise this! Labour are lying about unemployment!
They you go again with your mighty guesswork - its not good evidence is it? Yes Germany have a large population, but the British Population is also growing, so based on what you just said, unemployment is rising as a result of our growing population. I'm assuming you're going to pin that one on Labour too.
Better than your guess work! and you believing in the Labour governments apparent actual stats is part of the problem if you jus read through the hyp and actually read the papers etc. you'd get the bigger picture!
Mines not guess work. I have not just picked arbitrary numbers, they are factual. Still, you did make me laugh "read through the hyp and actually read the papers" - where do you think the hype is generated you moron!
Papers lie and twist stories until they are actually readable. So no, I will not be gathering my information from the likes of The Sun - less can be said for you it seems.
And as I said and pointed out those figures you choose to acknowledge are false! At least I had the mind to work out for myself rather than 'sheep' it like you!!
I cannot believe you just call the BBC bias. If you think the BBC is bias then everything is, including your pretentious magazines. If what you've been sayng over the last few days is anything like what has been printed in The Economist, I promise you the editior would have been shot by now.
Yes your quite right in the Communist regime the UK has become it wouldn't surprise me in the least! That the editor of the economist would be taken out and shot!
If you were living in the UK you would be the only person there, save for the Labour boot lickers, who beleive what that government tells you! you show no intellect to define for yourself what is and what isn't!
I do live in the UK, I was using a different account there (not sure why it says Australia).
My intellect is that of a small planet, and yours is that of a small atom. I'm not sure you know what communism is - as the UK definitely isn't a communist country. Do we have poverty in England? Yes. Do we have regions of extreme wealth? Yes. Do some earn more than others? Yes. Thus we are not communist.
And you've yet to come up real eveidence of what you proclaim mate! you truely are young and been heavily indoctrinated by your years at school under this communist regime!
Wow, you really are something aren't you? My evidence is real, yes some of it comes from text books, but those text books are written by professors from Cambridge - and those people are a thousand times more intelligent and reliable than you and your random guess work. Which, for a man of 40, you should be quite embarrassed about really.
No it isn't real you sheep your evidence from the bbc I remember seeing the figures myself on there! and if you were living in the UK you see for your self! At 19 your still pollitically naive to pollitics though you are gaining some good experience of debate by talking to a good man of 40! P.S. did mum ever tell you to respect your elders!!! LOL
Ok, so once again, I live in the UK thus I do know that the BBC is a reliable source. I'm actually 17, and a man of 40 should know that "pollitically niave to politics" is an amusingly tautological sentence.
And yes my mother did I should respect my elders, though she also said that I'll come across many older than me who have the intelligence of vegetable. It seems the latter applies here.
Not at all guess work well calculated even you could do it! maths lesson for you! we have rougly 2.8m unemployed add that to 2.5m on benefits (we'll forget the people on medical leave etc. I don't want to confuse you at this stage) who refuse to work (concentrate) now add them like you would 1+1.....there you go 5.3million! Easy wasn't it! and for you painfull no doubt!!!
Next up; these magnanimous retirement packages. The lay-off packages were not good at all, they still meant that unskilled, un-trained miners had to somehow find employment else where, which they didn't - and hence why the unemployment rate went up. Why did the miners due for retirement take it? Because they couldn't get any other jobs! Its not that hard to comprehend really.
I honestly don't think you're in a position to say "you know nothing".
The Mines were expensive to run and cheeper imported Coal was taking over as the consumer dictated. Maggie had no choice but to do something radical about the mines! Coupled with ever growing requirement of cleaner more effecient power, to meet an increasing population meant the mines would not be able to cope with the demand. Couple this with your typical union Bollocks the miners themselves were doing their own jobs in!! They weren't untrained or unskilled they were retrained!
To be completely honest, I too believe that the mines should have been closed down. But this doesn't change the fact that 1000s of people lost their jobs. And no, they were not adept, they were not trained and qualified for any other job asides mining. They did not get retrained because there weren't any jobs available for them. For man who says he travels all over the country, it seems quite clear you haven't discussed this issue with anyone in Yorkshire or other such former mining community.
Cleary you haven't discussed it! I had freinds in the Army with me who were originally from mining communities some joined during the strikes and their friends in the aftermath took the Torry governments offer to retrain as well as most of their fathers etc. indeed one of my mates dads became a computer technician from going on acourse! As I said to you before experience counts for everything!!! PUT THAT ONE TO BED
So these skilled miners all got new Jobs? Some went to the Army it seems - I wonder if these miners wanted to go to the Army more than join their local Accountancy firm?
I know a lot of people from Yorkshire, most are still bitter now about the closing down of mines. You came up with one example of someone who'd been retrained - I believe I said 147 (ish) communities were ruined when mines closed. Once again you think your experiences can form the foundations of an acceptable generalisation.
You did say 147 your right! However I'm affraid I didn't serve with 80 or 90,000 of them in the Armed forces just few and my generalisation is as I said from experience! And there is still bittermes up there about it but most of these people have since retrained and are doing other jobs/work! your comments imply a nation of thumb sucking introverts, who are still crying in their pints over it! their not they've moved on and along time ago they did with retraining packages!
"most of these have since retrained" - what?! You've based this on the one person you know who got trained as a technician. You said you were alive when the mines closed down, were you in hibernation when this happened or did you just choose to ignore it?
I suggest you research a little bit on the mines before you make any further comments.
Now, moving on to the 1998 Manifesto Policy. I have to be honest; my memory on this is vague. From what I can gather the government was unhappy about rich people having holiday homes. This was 11 years ago, Tony Blair is no longer in power, and with all due respect the event is now irrelevant. MPs are entitled to second homes, it makes sense they have one in London, this doesn't go against the Manifesto Policy of 1998, as the homes are indisputably for business purposes.
There's a suprise your memory doesn't seem to think well at all! As I work all over the country then why can't I have Government paid for second homes/flats around the country as I would only be using them for business when I move around on business. And the Manifesto policy is rellevant as it show Labour's true self, the Party of liars!!!!
"your memory doesn't seem to think well" - that makes no sense at all.
The reason you can't claim secondary home from the government is, because you don't work for the government! Not that tricky really.
If you feel in need of a second home talk to your company. Of course, they won't give you one which eptimises why people like you are so bitter - MPs can get things that you can't. Jealousy is a horrible thing.
Are you actually reading what I've said your passage above is totally meaningless! the Government is not a company! it's an accountable public body! The MP's are there simply by the courtesy and generosity of the voting British public you fucking ass hole! No one who goes to vote, votes for them to rip off the public purse time and time again! THEY ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO US!! you mis understand and show again your political inept
Firstly, it would be "you're politically inept" not "your political inept". Bad way to end a point.
Secondly aren't you a self imposed exile? Does that mean you can't vote? If so, they are not accountable to you. In fact you have clearly lost your right to even discuss these topics.
You're right, the government isn't a company, but MPs do work directly for the government and hence their housing is provided by them. I'm sorry if you didn't get that first time, I'll try to dumb down a little.
Thank you for the spelling lesson! And yes I can still vote int eh UK as I've never relinquished my citizenship, was born and bred there, have paid into the tax system for over 20 years! and It's my birth rite to do so! the housing isn't provided by centeral government! they are given expences to pay for them, However as I said before it's an illicit practice when you consider the Mp for Luton has his 2nd paid for home in.....Brighton!
they are accountable to the people of the UK and me as ponted out I may not live there but I still have every rigth to vote in the UK elections as a birth rite! and I do this by means of voting by proxy! Please stop elevating politicians above their unjust and ungodly realms of duty!
Further more why shouldn't rich people or anyone who can afford a second home etc. have one after all you need builders etc. to construct and maintain these places!!!! job creation and not a labour Mp in sight!! all my own work!! Thats put that one to bed
That is quite simply an awful idea. Firstly these are holiday homes, so its likely that UK builders won't benefit. Secondly, if these homes are to built in the UK, they need planning permission which eventually goes through the government - so the MPs will still be involved.
Whats this conrtradicting yourself again? reference the jelousy remark you made to me in another quote 'jelousy is a awful thing' As I now run a building company IU have to say you know very little about planning permission! Or generally the building trade!
Ha, that makes me laugh. You ramble on about these building policies as though a well informed neutral and it turns out you run a Building Company. I'd say that means you have vested interest, wouldn't you?
Also, I'd have said "Jealousy" not "Jelousy" mainly because thats how you spell it.
Anyway, I apologise that I'm not an aficionado in building, but I'm still more than capable of grading your idea as crap.
I didn't ramble on about building policies! You did! I merely implied you knew very little about the subject! Vested interest yes! The construction industry is the biggest single contributer to the GDP! we are also the leader in environmental polices regards environmental impact! and resources prservation! it's good to me as I can capitalise from financial savings putting more money in mine and my operatives pockets!
Is building more houses a good idea? Probably not; for starters it encourages more travelling by car and/or plane, which is obviously awful for climate change. As well as this, if rich people build holiday homes in an area, house prices will rise, meaning those less well off will no longer be able to live there. So no, I really don't think you can put that one to bed.
Firstly I don't beleive in climate change and if there is the climate will have certainly changed due to the fact there are 1 billion more people on this planet than there was in the 70's so If there is such a thing as climate change it is simply attibuted to an increase global populous! And are you denying the right for people to live comfortably! We need to start listening to the opposite side of the coin on climate change because there is widely differing scientific oppinions one that one
I'm not even remotely surprised that you don't believe in climate change. You're the type of person that when 97% of the worlds finest scientists are screaming at you, you put the ear-plugs in. Yes the increase in population has lead to a decline in climate change; but that is the problem. I'm not sure what you were really trying to say there, but its this rise in population thats resulted in; twice the amount of annual hurricanes, increase in ocean PHD levels, and a huge rise in drought.
Please tell 'oh great scinetific wanderer of our times' where you come up with 97%! In fact a few years ago the UN scientific community came to around a 50-50 split on climate change and were only able to agree on few issues over it!!! Labour refuse to accept differences of oppion on climate change due to the fact if they did they woouldn't be able to heavily tax the people of the UK so heavily on the preetence of it! Thats the truth
I'd like to point out by the way, that Climate Change was the excuse Margret Thatcher gave for closing down the Mines.
Also, I'm not saying people shouldn't live comfortably, and we are discussing buildings here, and you run a building company, so its obvious that we're going to disagree. I'm just saying that there are benefits to that particular policy.
And finally, there isn't much differing in the scientific community concerning climate change, its pretty unanimous asides the odd skeptic.
Where did you come up with that one about Maggie and climate change! LOL The very term 'climate change' is a Labour invention! I can never remember back then, ever hearing the words climate change in Maggie's days! LOL
I'm going to give a quick run through of her argument. Many Miners Mined for coal. Coal is used to make electricity, but when burned releases CO2, which isn't very good for our atmosphere. Maggie said - "I think we should stop using coal to produce electricity because its making the world heat up". She decided to close the mines accordingly and resort to nuclear energy.
Margret Thatcher even put money on the table for the scientist who could prove Global Warming.
you know nothing! your a stupid little 19 yr old twat who proclaims he knows professors of economics and really knows fuck all! you produce to me your your real figures listing the papers and where I can find them and I'll prove to your simply a CUNT! you weren't even born when the miners were striking you fucking adolescent! stop your fucking lying! and why did you delete a comment? truth hurts may be??? you've nothing to say and your saying it too loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly what "figures" would you like? Just ask and I shall give them to you. By your shocking lack of knowledge I doubt that you were born before the miners went on strike. I hope for your sake you're not actually 40.
I deleted the comment because it was 2 words long when I accidently posted it. No, I didn't suddenly give in to the words of an idiot who knows as much about anything as a Down syndrome baby.
you are the only twat on here who has anything to promote about the Labour regime! just shows you who is really really an asre hole! YOU YOU YOU! I have an excuse this time with my spelling I'm drunk! But still can intimidate a sillt little boy like you! You met more then your match buddy!
You're drunk. You're drunk and you go on youtube. Wow, what our nation has come to. Its funny really, you're about as articulate as when you're sober.
Anyway, I'm actually 17, and no, I don't know the professors of economics, though I did talk to one from Cambridge the other day. I believe I said that these Professors write the books I read, from which I am getting my information.
As for "your saying it too loud" - well actually Im typing, so its that loud at all.
So in conclusion, no I really don't think I've met my match. Your IQ is that of your age and anyone who can form a sentence out of a single word i.e. "you you you", really should refrain from posting comments.
There is one benefit for the existence of people such as yourself; you make the rest of us look brilliant.
I suggest you go back to school, read more than just page 3 of The Sun, and get a brain scan - I refuse to believe people are actually born naturally as dumb as you.
I'm not suprised with your serious lack of intelligence! every other comment you've returned has very little to do with any intelligent topical argument at all. All you mainly say is 'Your this' or "your that" I can just imagine seeing you now in your bedroom stamping your feet in a childish rage like a spoiled little brat! Because some one has a differnce of oppinion! You don't like people who can distinguish between the political bullshit your fed every day and formulate an independant logical
See you just proved what I said! can't accept a difference of oppinion and can only resort to base crude obscenities! so who now is really the dumb on? P.S. I have 1st in Civil Engineering!
Well, your last point added nothing to your argument, so there wasn't exactly anything to counter. I'm guessing by the fact "oppinion" is spelt "opinion" and that you said "who now is really the dumb on" - I'm thinking you are. Lol, I'm assuming you're still completely wasted.
Again nothing to point out except a simple keyboard typing error! And my last few comments were simply to point out to you, the fact you have no come backs to the arguments I've posted other than your resort to personal obscenities about some one! Um Quantum Physics, yes your brain truely is out there! onanother planet! PMSL! and probably with E.F. Taylor
Oh and I just added that liitle personal obscenity about as your the one who originally lwered the tone! So I decided to come down to your level of things!
Ah, I see. So because I've pointed out your shocking literacy habits your able to point out that I'm only pointing out your shocking literacy habits without become hypocritical despite avoiding the argument at hand.
Well, if it bothers you so much, what part of your argument do you feel I have replied unsubstantially to?
(I know you don't like it, but can you please check your comment for "typos" before you post it, its getting quite annoying I want to feel as though Im talking to an adult).
Most of my arguments actually! All you've done is bent and misquoted apparent facts from texts etc. As for the 'typos' you obviously understand my comments so I happy with the fact I'm communicating with you! Again you then resort to personal obscenities! It's pleasing to see a young fellow as yourself in University; studying a difficult subject! I know what the maths must be like, engineering maths blew my mind! I'm glad I don't have to use Differentiation and Integration every day of my life!
I'm 17 and studying As Levels. If you found integration and differentiation difficult, how the hell did you get a 1st? Although its pleasing that your all of a sudden being nice - you did just call me a cunt.
Anyway, how can you possibly say I'm misquoting facts from texts - its me who has the text, thus I'm clearly not misquoting. We have discussed mining, global warming, the morals of MPs expenses, unemployment and the reliability of the BBC. Theres not one point of yours I've not answered.
Of course not as argument is all about reasoning, logical explanation and intelligent thought on subjects! It's rewarding when somone like yourself and at your tender age has the mind to logically reason! your one though there are hundreds of youngsters out there who just don't give a damn I appologise for the offensive remark!
If all MPs took the maximum of £24-thousand, the expenses could not exceed £17-million a year. Since this far from so, the expenses issue is more a matter of appearing tawdry, and not an issue of expense. A 21st century democracy is costly, no matter how it is paid for. To install a layer of bureaucracy to provide oversight is most probably going to be a pyrrhic victory, except for the anoraks who could barely organise a church hall. What hotel in London costs less than £200, per night.
Fraud, Stealing & taking the piss out of us hard working people comes to mind. I wish I could afford 1 home let alone 2 or 3. They are robbing us and I hope they rot in hell yet nothing will change. They pretend to be on our side but are only in the game for what they can get. I am very very angry.
This expense scandal may have far reaching implications, particulary for British reputation abroad (the stories have obviously found their way into the international press) and possible effects on international business.
It would be a real shame for the British public to be branded with the same label as these corrupt politicians.
Imson131 . You avoidi comment on the both of the Telegraph's real motives and the issue of M.P.s earning their salaries by attending the Commons. regularly. . William Hague has admiited the latter if of equal significance and is taking steps to adjust his own commitments. As for earnings from other sources "not coming out of your pocket "in taxation an informed understanding of economics might suggest otherwise. The presenter here ,as a former Telegraph "hack", is toeing their line.
The point is golsno147 that income from "other jobs, directorships, huge fees for speeches and articles as journalists" does not come out of my pocket. Also, the Telegraph has not confined itself to Labour. It has exposed abuses right across the political spectrum.
I repeat-what is an obviously justified public response to expenses abuse is based primarily on Daily Telegraph hype not because it is some new phenomenon. Why stick to those well hyped examples of "greed".? Have they access to data for previous administrations? Why, only now, are Tories milking the data for political purposes? Is having other jobs, directorships, earning huge fees for speeches and articles as journalists not eqully abusive when their time should be spent in the Commons.?
I dont know how these bastards get away with it, what kind of law protects them, this a clear sign of expenses abuse to the max, the really funny part that really makes me laugh out loud is that these bastards are MPS, I am sick and mad, if I had my way I would have jailed their asses for a long time. Why the British people are so silent, isnt there any way to take to court, this clearly a violation of the tax payers money period.
has been a blatant international phenomenon for generations. It is no co-incdence that the" Telegraph," in the main, have relentlessly pursued this issue as part of their perversive campaign against the Brown administration since the day he took office. I excuse none of what is real abuse in a sheltered system but our M.P.s are, compared with others, amongst the most lowly paid on the planet. and those with second jobs are mostly Conservatives.
blab on and on it,s theiving me or you got to jail for it the systems so corrupt that no one dare treadon there toes because there at it also dirty scumbags no wonder we got the spunk-bag hoody remember contempt breeds contempt all and i mean all are at it even the judges throughout the country it,s a im alright jack country

They have all been at the trough so long they have no money sense what so ever.
These pigs have built their own feed trough with our money - its depth reflects the cash they have made available to themselves. They have been overeating while standing in the trough. Now trapped they squeal, unable get up the sides of the trough to escape. Look how pathetically they slip and squim covered in their own waste and shit whilst trying to tell us they are clean!

The MPs Expenses scandal is disgraceful- particularly with the double standards promoted by the Government and opposition- but I do sympathise with those members and councillors who are innocent and being tarred with the same brush (Alan Johnson and Ann Widdecombe for instance) Those who are giving prospective councillors a hard time have no ground for doing so.

i don't see anything wrong with it,what's all the fuss about?people like sir john viggers have every right to claim for what they can, everybody would if they could it's all just jealousy from the working classes.have you any idea of how much a moat costs to keep clean?then spare a thought for poor douglas hogg who is a gentleman i can tell you because i've had the honour and privelage to meet him,and his moat which is enormous costs a fortune to upkeep.
jonybeam 2 years ago
How is it jealousy. It is my fucking tax money that they are messing about with. If I missed a pound of my council tax they bombard me with documents that they will be taking me to court. If the moat is enormous then why is it our responsibility. These guys get homes for free and a massive check every month. Why should I pay for cleaning a moat or buying a message chair from my £8.00 an hour. It really is not fair.
shotta0121 2 years ago
you really ought to have more respect for a pier like Douglas Hogg or Lord Hogg soon to be i sincerely hope.He has huge expenses for the upkeep of his home which believe you me is the size of a small castle and costs a hell of a lot to upkeep.I understand your frustratiion but that does not negate the fact that the likes of Douglas Anthony and sir Peter are very very hard working men who have given there all for this country and whom you ought to show a little more respect and gratification

Your a twat! I remember 3 day weeks, strikes all across the country by dust bin collectors etc; back in the 70"s due to a Labour Governement's poor leadership.
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Further I don't need falsified government statistics to prove anything I've lived and seen it mate! experience counts for everything!!! I have a mate who works in the Met who's sole job is to manipulate Government stats on crime figures! he places crimes into different brackets in an attempt to make it look like Labour are dealing with particular types of electioneering vote grabbing stats; giving an impression they are dealing with the problem! I don't government stats to prove that one!!!!

And me well I can't even afford a to buy!! Thanks New Labour!!!! you Pricks
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Ok, where to start with this little lot. Firstly, Bittenof, no the employment rate is not 8%. Secondly, "Selby" was a "modern" mine - how many mines do recon there once were in the UK? I'm very confident it was more than 1. In fact Margret Thatcher was responsible for the collapse of 146 mining communities. "Selby" doesn't look too significant now does it?
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Ripper36068 - I love the way you consider you arbitrary numbers to me more accurate than government statistics; "5 - 6million", its really lovely guess work. Do you think the unemployment rates in Italy, Germany and France take into account their "lazy bone idol career benefit fraudsters"? No they don't, and hence our unemployment rate remains good on relative standards.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
1stly Germany's poulation is around the 100 million mark, they will per head of population have more unemployment! My guess work is actually clever thinking by lumping all the millions of people who refuse to work for one reason or another into one basket; the Umeployed! this where myself and Bittenof arived at our figures being the true extent! If you read my passage on labour stats of manipulation you'd realise this! Labour are lying about unemployment!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
They you go again with your mighty guesswork - its not good evidence is it? Yes Germany have a large population, but the British Population is also growing, so based on what you just said, unemployment is rising as a result of our growing population. I'm assuming you're going to pin that one on Labour too.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Better than your guess work! and you believing in the Labour governments apparent actual stats is part of the problem if you jus read through the hyp and actually read the papers etc. you'd get the bigger picture!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Mines not guess work. I have not just picked arbitrary numbers, they are factual. Still, you did make me laugh "read through the hyp and actually read the papers" - where do you think the hype is generated you moron!
Papers lie and twist stories until they are actually readable. So no, I will not be gathering my information from the likes of The Sun - less can be said for you it seems.

Ripper36068 2 years ago
If you were living in the UK you would be the only person there, save for the Labour boot lickers, who beleive what that government tells you! you show no intellect to define for yourself what is and what isn't!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
I do live in the UK, I was using a different account there (not sure why it says Australia).
My intellect is that of a small planet, and yours is that of a small atom. I'm not sure you know what communism is - as the UK definitely isn't a communist country. Do we have poverty in England? Yes. Do we have regions of extreme wealth? Yes. Do some earn more than others? Yes. Thus we are not communist.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
And you've yet to come up real eveidence of what you proclaim mate! you truely are young and been heavily indoctrinated by your years at school under this communist regime!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Wow, you really are something aren't you? My evidence is real, yes some of it comes from text books, but those text books are written by professors from Cambridge - and those people are a thousand times more intelligent and reliable than you and your random guess work. Which, for a man of 40, you should be quite embarrassed about really.
thepiedpiper08 2 years ago
No it isn't real you sheep your evidence from the bbc I remember seeing the figures myself on there! and if you were living in the UK you see for your self! At 19 your still pollitically naive to pollitics though you are gaining some good experience of debate by talking to a good man of 40! P.S. did mum ever tell you to respect your elders!!! LOL
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Ok, so once again, I live in the UK thus I do know that the BBC is a reliable source. I'm actually 17, and a man of 40 should know that "pollitically niave to politics" is an amusingly tautological sentence.
And yes my mother did I should respect my elders, though she also said that I'll come across many older than me who have the intelligence of vegetable. It seems the latter applies here.

MrPiper09 2 years ago
The Mines were expensive to run and cheeper imported Coal was taking over as the consumer dictated. Maggie had no choice but to do something radical about the mines! Coupled with ever growing requirement of cleaner more effecient power, to meet an increasing population meant the mines would not be able to cope with the demand. Couple this with your typical union Bollocks the miners themselves were doing their own jobs in!! They weren't untrained or unskilled they were retrained!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
To be completely honest, I too believe that the mines should have been closed down. But this doesn't change the fact that 1000s of people lost their jobs. And no, they were not adept, they were not trained and qualified for any other job asides mining. They did not get retrained because there weren't any jobs available for them. For man who says he travels all over the country, it seems quite clear you haven't discussed this issue with anyone in Yorkshire or other such former mining community.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Cleary you haven't discussed it! I had freinds in the Army with me who were originally from mining communities some joined during the strikes and their friends in the aftermath took the Torry governments offer to retrain as well as most of their fathers etc. indeed one of my mates dads became a computer technician from going on acourse! As I said to you before experience counts for everything!!! PUT THAT ONE TO BED
Ripper36068 2 years ago

Ripper36068 2 years ago

MrPiper09 2 years ago
There's a suprise your memory doesn't seem to think well at all! As I work all over the country then why can't I have Government paid for second homes/flats around the country as I would only be using them for business when I move around on business. And the Manifesto policy is rellevant as it show Labour's true self, the Party of liars!!!!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
"your memory doesn't seem to think well" - that makes no sense at all.
The reason you can't claim secondary home from the government is, because you don't work for the government! Not that tricky really.
If you feel in need of a second home talk to your company. Of course, they won't give you one which eptimises why people like you are so bitter - MPs can get things that you can't. Jealousy is a horrible thing.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Are you actually reading what I've said your passage above is totally meaningless! the Government is not a company! it's an accountable public body! The MP's are there simply by the courtesy and generosity of the voting British public you fucking ass hole! No one who goes to vote, votes for them to rip off the public purse time and time again! THEY ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO US!! you mis understand and show again your political inept
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Firstly, it would be "you're politically inept" not "your political inept". Bad way to end a point.
Secondly aren't you a self imposed exile? Does that mean you can't vote? If so, they are not accountable to you. In fact you have clearly lost your right to even discuss these topics.
You're right, the government isn't a company, but MPs do work directly for the government and hence their housing is provided by them. I'm sorry if you didn't get that first time, I'll try to dumb down a little.
thepiedpiper08 2 years ago
Thank you for the spelling lesson! And yes I can still vote int eh UK as I've never relinquished my citizenship, was born and bred there, have paid into the tax system for over 20 years! and It's my birth rite to do so! the housing isn't provided by centeral government! they are given expences to pay for them, However as I said before it's an illicit practice when you consider the Mp for Luton has his 2nd paid for home in.....Brighton!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Ok so the government do not provide second homes, but they do fund them. You see how similar those two are?
I have no idea why the MP in Luton needed a second home in Brighton - but neither do you. So we can't pass judgment.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
they are accountable to the people of the UK and me as ponted out I may not live there but I still have every rigth to vote in the UK elections as a birth rite! and I do this by means of voting by proxy! Please stop elevating politicians above their unjust and ungodly realms of duty!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Further more why shouldn't rich people or anyone who can afford a second home etc. have one after all you need builders etc. to construct and maintain these places!!!! job creation and not a labour Mp in sight!! all my own work!! Thats put that one to bed
Ripper36068 2 years ago
That is quite simply an awful idea. Firstly these are holiday homes, so its likely that UK builders won't benefit. Secondly, if these homes are to built in the UK, they need planning permission which eventually goes through the government - so the MPs will still be involved.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Whats this conrtradicting yourself again? reference the jelousy remark you made to me in another quote 'jelousy is a awful thing' As I now run a building company IU have to say you know very little about planning permission! Or generally the building trade!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Ha, that makes me laugh. You ramble on about these building policies as though a well informed neutral and it turns out you run a Building Company. I'd say that means you have vested interest, wouldn't you?
Also, I'd have said "Jealousy" not "Jelousy" mainly because thats how you spell it.
Anyway, I apologise that I'm not an aficionado in building, but I'm still more than capable of grading your idea as crap.
thepiedpiper08 2 years ago
I didn't ramble on about building policies! You did! I merely implied you knew very little about the subject! Vested interest yes! The construction industry is the biggest single contributer to the GDP! we are also the leader in environmental polices regards environmental impact! and resources prservation! it's good to me as I can capitalise from financial savings putting more money in mine and my operatives pockets!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Leader in environmental Policies - HA! The only way a building company could be environmentally friendly is by going bust!
Also, no, I didn't ramble on about building policies, I merely insinuated that your little plan is as needed as bicycles for fish.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Is building more houses a good idea? Probably not; for starters it encourages more travelling by car and/or plane, which is obviously awful for climate change. As well as this, if rich people build holiday homes in an area, house prices will rise, meaning those less well off will no longer be able to live there. So no, I really don't think you can put that one to bed.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Firstly I don't beleive in climate change and if there is the climate will have certainly changed due to the fact there are 1 billion more people on this planet than there was in the 70's so If there is such a thing as climate change it is simply attibuted to an increase global populous! And are you denying the right for people to live comfortably! We need to start listening to the opposite side of the coin on climate change because there is widely differing scientific oppinions one that one
Ripper36068 2 years ago
I'm not even remotely surprised that you don't believe in climate change. You're the type of person that when 97% of the worlds finest scientists are screaming at you, you put the ear-plugs in. Yes the increase in population has lead to a decline in climate change; but that is the problem. I'm not sure what you were really trying to say there, but its this rise in population thats resulted in; twice the amount of annual hurricanes, increase in ocean PHD levels, and a huge rise in drought.
thepiedpiper08 2 years ago
Please tell 'oh great scinetific wanderer of our times' where you come up with 97%! In fact a few years ago the UN scientific community came to around a 50-50 split on climate change and were only able to agree on few issues over it!!! Labour refuse to accept differences of oppion on climate change due to the fact if they did they woouldn't be able to heavily tax the people of the UK so heavily on the preetence of it! Thats the truth
Ripper36068 2 years ago
I can promise you that its not a 50-50 split. It actually saddens me that you think that. And my 97% was from the New Scientist.
I'm not really sure how to respond to your ignorance, so I'm just going to say: give me ANY evidence against climate change and I will counter it.
It leads me to wonder where your 50-50 statistic came from. A bit of the Ripper's guess work I pressume?
MrPiper09 2 years ago
I'd like to point out by the way, that Climate Change was the excuse Margret Thatcher gave for closing down the Mines.
Also, I'm not saying people shouldn't live comfortably, and we are discussing buildings here, and you run a building company, so its obvious that we're going to disagree. I'm just saying that there are benefits to that particular policy.
And finally, there isn't much differing in the scientific community concerning climate change, its pretty unanimous asides the odd skeptic.
thepiedpiper08 2 years ago
Where did you come up with that one about Maggie and climate change! LOL The very term 'climate change' is a Labour invention! I can never remember back then, ever hearing the words climate change in Maggie's days! LOL
Ripper36068 2 years ago
I'm going to give a quick run through of her argument. Many Miners Mined for coal. Coal is used to make electricity, but when burned releases CO2, which isn't very good for our atmosphere. Maggie said - "I think we should stop using coal to produce electricity because its making the world heat up". She decided to close the mines accordingly and resort to nuclear energy.
Margret Thatcher even put money on the table for the scientist who could prove Global Warming.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
you know nothing! your a stupid little 19 yr old twat who proclaims he knows professors of economics and really knows fuck all! you produce to me your your real figures listing the papers and where I can find them and I'll prove to your simply a CUNT! you weren't even born when the miners were striking you fucking adolescent! stop your fucking lying! and why did you delete a comment? truth hurts may be??? you've nothing to say and your saying it too loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Exactly what "figures" would you like? Just ask and I shall give them to you. By your shocking lack of knowledge I doubt that you were born before the miners went on strike. I hope for your sake you're not actually 40.
I deleted the comment because it was 2 words long when I accidently posted it. No, I didn't suddenly give in to the words of an idiot who knows as much about anything as a Down syndrome baby.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
you are the only twat on here who has anything to promote about the Labour regime! just shows you who is really really an asre hole! YOU YOU YOU! I have an excuse this time with my spelling I'm drunk! But still can intimidate a sillt little boy like you! You met more then your match buddy!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
You're drunk. You're drunk and you go on youtube. Wow, what our nation has come to. Its funny really, you're about as articulate as when you're sober.
Anyway, I'm actually 17, and no, I don't know the professors of economics, though I did talk to one from Cambridge the other day. I believe I said that these Professors write the books I read, from which I am getting my information.
As for "your saying it too loud" - well actually Im typing, so its that loud at all.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
So in conclusion, no I really don't think I've met my match. Your IQ is that of your age and anyone who can form a sentence out of a single word i.e. "you you you", really should refrain from posting comments.
There is one benefit for the existence of people such as yourself; you make the rest of us look brilliant.
I suggest you go back to school, read more than just page 3 of The Sun, and get a brain scan - I refuse to believe people are actually born naturally as dumb as you.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
I'm not suprised with your serious lack of intelligence! every other comment you've returned has very little to do with any intelligent topical argument at all. All you mainly say is 'Your this' or "your that" I can just imagine seeing you now in your bedroom stamping your feet in a childish rage like a spoiled little brat! Because some one has a differnce of oppinion! You don't like people who can distinguish between the political bullshit your fed every day and formulate an independant logical
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Well I'm actually sitting in my room at the moment reading "Advancing Quantum Physics" by E.F. Taylor.
I'm quite happy that people have different opinions, just not when that person is undeniably wrong, and quite frankly dumb.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
See you just proved what I said! can't accept a difference of oppinion and can only resort to base crude obscenities! so who now is really the dumb on? P.S. I have 1st in Civil Engineering!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Well, your last point added nothing to your argument, so there wasn't exactly anything to counter. I'm guessing by the fact "oppinion" is spelt "opinion" and that you said "who now is really the dumb on" - I'm thinking you are. Lol, I'm assuming you're still completely wasted.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Again nothing to point out except a simple keyboard typing error! And my last few comments were simply to point out to you, the fact you have no come backs to the arguments I've posted other than your resort to personal obscenities about some one! Um Quantum Physics, yes your brain truely is out there! onanother planet! PMSL! and probably with E.F. Taylor
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Oh and I just added that liitle personal obscenity about as your the one who originally lwered the tone! So I decided to come down to your level of things!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Most of my arguments actually! All you've done is bent and misquoted apparent facts from texts etc. As for the 'typos' you obviously understand my comments so I happy with the fact I'm communicating with you! Again you then resort to personal obscenities! It's pleasing to see a young fellow as yourself in University; studying a difficult subject! I know what the maths must be like, engineering maths blew my mind! I'm glad I don't have to use Differentiation and Integration every day of my life!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
I'm 17 and studying As Levels. If you found integration and differentiation difficult, how the hell did you get a 1st? Although its pleasing that your all of a sudden being nice - you did just call me a cunt.
Anyway, how can you possibly say I'm misquoting facts from texts - its me who has the text, thus I'm clearly not misquoting. We have discussed mining, global warming, the morals of MPs expenses, unemployment and the reliability of the BBC. Theres not one point of yours I've not answered.
MrPiper09 2 years ago
Of course not as argument is all about reasoning, logical explanation and intelligent thought on subjects! It's rewarding when somone like yourself and at your tender age has the mind to logically reason! your one though there are hundreds of youngsters out there who just don't give a damn I appologise for the offensive remark!
Ripper36068 2 years ago
Then I guess we're agreeing to disagree.
Have fun youtubing buddy :)

This expense scandal may have far reaching implications, particulary for British reputation abroad (the stories have obviously found their way into the international press) and possible effects on international business.
It would be a real shame for the British public to be branded with the same label as these corrupt politicians.
Not a very good example.

The presenter here ,as a former Telegraph "hack", is toeing their line.
golsno147 2 years ago
The point is golsno147 that income from "other jobs, directorships, huge fees for speeches and articles as journalists" does not come out of my pocket. Also, the Telegraph has not confined itself to Labour. It has exposed abuses right across the political spectrum.
Imson131 2 years ago
Why are my taxes going to feed that illiterate, inarticulate buffoon Prescott?
Imson131 2 years ago
I repeat-what is an obviously justified public response to expenses abuse is based primarily on Daily Telegraph hype not because it is some new phenomenon. Why stick to those well hyped examples of "greed".? Have they access to data for previous administrations? Why, only now, are Tories milking the data for political purposes? Is having other jobs, directorships, earning huge fees for speeches and articles as journalists not eqully abusive when their time should be spent in the Commons.?
golsno147 2 years ago
I dont know how these bastards get away with it, what kind of law protects them, this a clear sign of expenses abuse to the max, the really funny part that really makes me laugh out loud is that these bastards are MPS, I am sick and mad, if I had my way I would have jailed their asses for a long time. Why the British people are so silent, isnt there any way to take to court, this clearly a violation of the tax payers money period.

Expenses abuse in business and politics
has been a blatant international phenomenon for generations.
