Whats the difference in looks between the ue46d7000 and the ue46d8000 ?

Is the frame as small as eachother or is one bigger than the other ?

Im getting one of them but I wanna know what one has the smaller frame.

@joeteds They both have the same width frame, the premium has a silver bezel, while the cheaper 7000 series has clear plastic, which actually makes the border less noticeable. Also the Samsung logo is incorporated into the bezel on the 7000, the 8000 has a more pronounced Samsung which pops out a little from the middle bottom of the bezel.

So question is, do you like your chrome or a less visible boarder.

Or how about you go to your local TV store and look for yourself you lazy ass!

Cheers for the reply, I'll probably go with the 7000 then if the frame is less noticable, My local store only has the 8000 so I havnt got anything to compare it too, I will be taking the drive this weekend though to a shop that has both.Thanks again

@joeteds I've seen it as cheap as 1.4K at novatech. I can't vouch for their service record though, I know nothing about them. You could call up Richersounds and get them to match/beat it, but they will only do this if:

1) nova will allow personal pickup (they need a store front)

2) only if novatech have stock when RS call them for the price quote (they have no stock atm but 11 due today).

I only know this much as I was thinking about making the same purchase, but tech is always getting better.

Great minds think alike buddy :-) Thats the exact scenario that I was going to do. Luckily Novatech have about 3 places near me where I can actually pick it up from, There not store fronts but they let you go to their warehouses to colledct. Like you tho Im not sure about their services, I wanted to use Richers sounds as Ive heard more about them and they also have a place near me.
