  • who can see this video and don't cry??? give my greece back :( we are all greek...Love from Iran

  • Did all this really happen? I'm not from Europe.

  • "In the greek capital where cizilization was born...I bet the ancient chinese or people from mesopotamia would beg to differ.

  • All the economic problems are because mankind got rid of its dependence on soil and took liberty in consulting, finance, etc... If a mechanism to go back or at least protect agriculture and the provision of cheap agricultural products is provided, the problems will be solved. The Common Agricultural Policy of Europe is bringing catastrophy to European consumers.

  • @Metehanmete3131 You can buy at least 3 milks in Turkey with 2 euros, which is 1 milk in Greece.

  • This is off topic, how did you put black background on swedish subtitles?

  • @zanpolsartr I just made the english subtitles in an .srt file. Then I used "MEncode" with the appropriate options(flags) and rendered the subtitles on the raw video. MEncode is a command-line video editor for Linux :)

  • Diamantopoulou didnt say the biggest problem.... That people in greece could be saved if all of them in parliament and other we cooperate with those return all the money that they steal. There are billions that they have.

Also Diamantopoulou is one worst persons that exist. She blackmail the universities to cooperate with a law that noone wants. She threat that if they dont use the law they will get no money so that universities will be in function. So just please leave Anna NOOBODY WANTS YOU

  • I could go on forever…. But the punch line is that what happens here can very VERY easily happen there as well, so be careful what you say because what goes around comes around.

    Have a nice day :)

  • Are we lazy? Yes we are, we prefer to die than to live as slaves.

Do we have to pay? Yes for once more we will be sacrificed so the rest of the world can see the real monster.

Are Germans, French and the rest of the countries giving us free money? No they don’t, get your numbers straight, Greece has paid back 500 billion Euros the last 10 years, in other words they make a good profit.

  • “From nowadays we no longer say that the Greeks are fighting like heroes, but the heroes are fighting like Greeks” Winston Churchill, after the end of WWII.

Greece lost 13% of its population making it no1 in casualties among other things, but why?? We had dictatorship at the time, we had about the same political dictatorship as the Germans did… in other words we should be allies with the Nazis… But nooo sir, we were that stupid to fight for what is right…

  • You don't even know the meaning of the word "poor". Poor is not someone without a 13th salary. Where were the honest people when the corrupt government was still putting money in their pockets?

  • 52:16

  • people should try to start their own bussiness and stop relaying on corprations to give them jobs !

  • Bravo!!! Well Done Indeed!!

  • 52:00 smart woman

  • 34:00 to 38:00

  • OK, I understand that. But the thing is, Greece doesn't want out of the Eurozone either. They have benefited so much from the fresh Western-European investment. Also, once a country enters the Euro zone, there are certain rules you are supposed to follow. If you vastly overspend, as did Greece, you don't expect the Germans and the French to pour tax money into country endlessly, do you? So the Greeks themselves are the first to blame for the current situation.

  • @tozzila Agreed. However the spending is not part of the working people but the politicians. If politicians make mistakes openly, they should be punished, not the people. From your tone I see that you can't make that distinguishment between government and people. There are many solutions to this problem but the one hurting the weak class was chosen. That is the thing that bothers me and many people out there.

  • @tozzila lets say that greece needs 10 euros. france and germany get a 10euro loan from big banks with interest of 1%. (they are considered credible costumers so they get a special rate.)

france and germany then gives 10 euros to greece with 10% interest (= PROFIT)

then france and germany blame Greece for the economic situation and raise their taxes with the excuse that "greece needs help". (=PROFIT)

    something to think about.

  • @tozzila agree with you my friend, Am coming from the biggest island of Greece and i can prove you with a few words why the greek politicians doesnt want to leave from eurozone. For 2 years am watching pictures with homeless people in Athens , am listening about crisis etc. If you come to my island you will not see any of these pictures , do you know why? because in the country area of greece we have a lot of thing to feed us. what is my point? We want to leave from eurozone but media never said

  • @tozzila to the people how rich is our country and that we can survive without any help from US or the eurozone. The say that we are gonna be more poor etc , bull shits. Trust me...and am not talking only about food and milk and water. Am talking about gold , gas etc. And except that , everyone knows that we are gonna leave from eurozone when the stupid german politicians take what they really want ;) cheers from greece and take care urselves

  • @yiannisdas No, you are not gonna leave the Eurozone, unless you get kicked out. You don't have the guts for that. You are too addicted to easy German/French money.

  • @tozzila 1)be careful the way you re talkin

2)if you weren't that addicted to tv you would have realized that we don't need german money and everything is happening for a reason. . .cause they want us poor

3)if greeks have guts you can open ANY history book(ancient or recent) to learn about it. . .or just come to say that words to us here in greece. . . .greetings from athens

  • @rEDition7 Oh, I'm so afraid of a real Greek like you. Oh, boy.

And yes, you don't need any money, your economy is doing great and those evil Germans just want to steal from you -- by paying you billions ...

History books? You are a by-product of the EU. Your new PM was wining like a baby the other day that noone wants Greece in the Eurozone anymore. At least PRETEND that you have some guts.

  • @tozzila that's what u understand by "history books"?About our new PM?we don't give a shit about this idiot+all those in goverment..if u knew the basics about history u would know that europe is a product of greek culture, and it's not me who say so,i'm telling you just open a book. And about the guts thing...i'm not goin to start a fight with u from the pc cause i don't like to hide behind a screen+pretending the big guy,i'm tellin u again come and say that big words to a greek face2face

  • @rEDition7 and something more. . .those germans are not evil and they don't want to steal from us. . .they are just paying our bills right?why?they love us??

  • @rEDition7 They are paying your bills because otherwise you are going to default and weaken their currency. If Romania, which is also part of the EU but outside the Eurozone, was about to default, do you think the Germans would be pouring billions into their economy?

  • @tozzila man germans are borrowing money to us cause they know that if tthey give one they will take back 10...and if rates go higher and higher and we are not able to pay back they will be able to take something more than money...and let me ask you something...do you believe that germans stole so much property from greece while at WW2?or it's all greek bull shit?and if you answer yes tell me...do they have to pay back SOME day?

  • @rEDition7 Just one correction: Europe is (partially) a product of ANCIENT Greek culture. Modern Greece as part of the EU is a product of German money. No German money and Greece collapses, as we see.

  • @tozzila believe me most of us here want this collapsion more than everything else...cause it will bring changes and will make us(simple people) build the country again without the help of our ass holes politicians or germans or anyone else...

  • @rEDition7 That's a good thought. Let's hope it works out the way you want it to work. Good luck.

  • @tozzila Good luck to you too.

  • I don't know english but i want to send a message for all people about the war . They said that the war that we had in the past is the problem . No ! This is a big lie ! The problem for that Economic crisis is the politician of Greece ! The make whatever they want without inform us ! You understand what i mean . The war that had past is not the problem ! They are the problem and that is my opinion !

  • What is wrong with the Greeks? They pay no taxes, they work short hours, they retire early and they are corrupted. Common sense. Such bias documentaries do not lie us. Sorry Greece but fuck off

  • @amaratan1

A:Your country is in trouble not because of greece but because there are ''as

we say in greece many '' ΜΑΛΑΚΕΣ like you that they are leaving there.U must

    drink less and work more.

B:και επειδή μας ζάλισες τα παπάρια ΑΝΤΕ ΚΑΙ ΓΑΜΗΣΟΥ!!

C:If u cant understand what i am saying in (B) google it.

  • @amaratan1 I believe that there are corrupted & honest people in this country, as in every country of this world. Role of governments is to prevent corrupted people to act guilefully. But greek parliament not only do not even punish these kind of people, but it is corrupted itself. Do not blame a whole population.Greeks are like every nationality's people, some are amoral & some are moral. If the government itself is amoral, then amorality has the ruling, the decisions and the purpose.

  • the solution:

Open many places where young greek girls needing money can gather and where tourists can go and offer money to this beautiful girls in exchange for good sex -

A good reason to visit greek andd help-

  • @balukk

we dont need to open places for girls to come other ppl in our country you dont go in other country for girls omg.you must be a guy that your social and sexual life with woman is total zero thats why you want to go in other countries to pay and have sex looser.

  • @balukk You seriously need to grow up. No respect at all.

  • Everyone likes a free lunch. Socialism doesn't work. Neither does Fascism (state run crony capitalism). Doom city. I feel for the Greeks. Why would they cut down a million olive trees? Madness.

  • @mcgrawtim123 You are absolutely right, it is complete madness. Let me give you an example of this EU-madness: I live in Sweden. We joined this organization in 1994. Already in 1995-96 EU sent their bureaucrats to Sweden to measure cucumbers??? and strawberrys??? They used a plastic "measuring rod" for this, but no one knew why this was important, what was the purpose behind it? EU loves to interfere in the lives of common people. EU is built upon collectivism, big government. It is so doomed.

  • @robert4you Word!

  • Dear Greeks: Next time please pay your taxes and avoid corruption. And you won't get into this situation again.

  • @tozzila where are you from?

  • @euklidis1984 Macedonia.

  • @tozzila so you are greek... or you are from furom (vardaska is the correct) and trying to become greek ;)

  • @euklidis1984 I'm not Greek, I'm from (the republic of) Macedonia. And what does this have to do with the video above?

  • @tozzila No No NO NO... Vardaska. that is the name of your country until 1945. You got the name Skopje and then FYROM. Nothing to do with The real macedonia. The only thing in common is that you are neighbours with The real and only Macedonia.

  • @euklidis1984 I'm from the Republic of Macedonia and there are no Greeks around here. Again, this thread is about Greece.

  • @tozzila Say what every you want, Maybe you take that name someday but the truth is that you are not Macedonia because you are not Greek . So say what ever you want you can say that you are from the Mars too

  • @Civilsitis How about we agree on "Makedonia"? You can keep "Macedonia" for yourself, I don't mind.

  • @tozzila its not about "agree" or "deal" its about history

  • @tozzila oh sorry now i see what you mean..you mean spelling ok let me fix it . The correct spelling its ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΙΑ and if you can read it then you are not from there cause it is spelling in Greeks.Sorry but its difficult for me spell it in foreigns languages.

  • @Civilsitis Македонија

  • @tozzila I regonize some letters, those are Greeks too

  • @Civilsitis If you can read that, than you are Macedonian.

  • @tozzila i told you why I can read that, most of the letters are Greeks. "M" "K" "Δ" "Ο" " Η" ¨Ν¨

  • @tozzila

macedonia is greek by the way tozzila and the war is coming dont worry be happy.

we owe few money if we compare germans and the other european countries and germans want to conquer with that way the europe and have slaves so next time you better open your mind and see what happens then speak.

  • @Kolpon1983 Nobody wants to conquer Greece. If you don't like the Germans why don't you simply reject the bailout and start footing your own bills? The truth is, you can't.

  • @tozzila becarefull what you wish . They didnt ask our opinion about all this. Germans owes us money since WW2 So I think they should pay first their depts

  • @tozzila shut the fuck up asshole.........this is not the reason.....

  • @Maxairistokokkalo One of the hardest things in life is to admit your own mistakes.

  • @tozzila Just to keep on the subject on topic...The debt crisis has it roots in the nature of the European/Global economic system. The internal problems of the Greek system just made sure that this would happen in Greece first and the weight of the situation would fall into the most weak part of the population. Try to study how the system works and you will see why your assessment is actually too simple and naive.

  • @mormegil231 I agree. But the question again is: Why did it happen in Greece -- and not in Sweden or any other country?

  • @tozzila The system itself requires weak and strong countries in order to function. Rich countries feed on the needs of weaker countries. Few competitive countries develop the weaker ones achieving high profits. The development is paid with borrowed money. If they did otherwise they would also be competitive towards the richer ones and take part of the profits. If all countries were rich and self-sufficient not enough profits could be made to control national dept..(continue in 2nd com)

  • @tozzila ...(continued)....They would all collapse. The reason the system is created this way is because money actually represents debt through fractional banking(check wikipedia). This way huge amount of profits are made basically for the lenders and the rich countries doing the development of the poorest ones. But of course it is unsustainable. Debt grow so much that the system at some point collapses. First with weak countries like Greece, Portugal etc.(..continued in 3rd)

  • @tozzila If policies are not changed immediately the rich countries like Germany and Sweden could as well follow at some point. The problem is that these policies don't change because lenders, that are the main guilty party that created the system, still want to save the profit. And so the only way that this could be done in Greece without making it a competitive economy is internal De-valueation (cutbacks). The matter is more complicated but it is the best In could do in comments.

  • @mormegil231 How could Greece devaluate the currency if it is the Euro and their own drachma? They would first need to drop the Euro, which they will never do, because it would cost so much money and nobody is going to give them bailout money.

  • @tozzila That is exactly what internal de-valuation is....In practice the cutbacks currently forced upon Greece by Europe done the last 2 years. Because you cannot de-valuate the currency to pay the dept you make harsh cutbacks to save money basically destroying social welfare, reducing public sector wages, pensions etc. The problem is that this although saves some money it destroys the economy because there is no money flow. It is practically a dead end strategy.to save lenders.

  • @tozzila Dear tozzila...before you speak put your tonque in your brain and then speak, sooo what we've learn today? lesson 1.--> think....,lesson 2--> then speak...I don't expect you to understand because you are clearly uneducated,(generally),in history and in finance for sure.Read the true history of your country.OPEN A BOOK!!! You should be ashamed as a nation.say hello to FYROM.

  • @fotisnas There we people in this part of the world much before ancient Greece came into existence. Then came the Greeks, then the Romans, the Slavs, the Turks. Nobody cares what was there hundreds of years ago. My great grand father considered himself Bulgarian and a few of my friends think they are Albanians. NO ONE around here thinks they are is Greek. We live in 21st century, not in 5,000 BC so get your brain out of your ass. Greetings from Macedonia.

  • @tozzila please dont speak...please please please. we dont need comments from an expert like you..I am being very polite..Just do what you usually do.See some youtube videos, have sex, drink, smoke...But please dont comment your marvelous and beautiful and expert comments..thank you

  • @Cotsios777 You make some great points that clearly contribute to the discussion.

By the way, what makes you an expert on the history of Macedonia? Shouldn't you be more concerned with the sorry state of your own country?

  • the man crying in the shop broke my heart. Greece needs to extricate itself from euro straight jacket and print its own Drachma now. They would not have a problem paying their bonds but would have inflation. The better option though!!!

  • Makes me sad watching this great nation on knees...fucking banks&corporations..never get enough, the history repeats itself and a little corporal from Austria will be repeated...

Have you ever lived and worked for a living in Greece? You think living and working here is sunny beaches and tax-avoiding life?? You are missinformed my ''brother'' jarhead and you know shit.

  • @xpetdakarx I see I got your attention,I do know many poor greeks are working two jobs 12-18 hours a day without electricity/running water...my comment was directed to the upper classes/rich people wich would be the ones that can afford/have the electricity using a computer in these days/times that seem to have gotten greece into this abyss..

  • @KINGKENNYTHEHOLY

whatever ''brother''...looks like u know things better.

After all since i've still got acces to internet i must be an upper class guy.

  • @xpetdakarx ok ok,I see we got off on the wrong foot here, its my fault for posting while drunk..so you have my apologies for that..but my impression were that most greeks were litterally living in the dark now..let alone afford one..are you using a work computer or laptop w/wi ? or is myimpression all wrong? I obviously need to be corrected here tho..I fought in wars to defend NATO and europe and the western world so I hate it to see it go this way..I didnt mean to take it out on you.
