I was told that supposed witches were taken down this path and thrown from the bridge.If they lived then the were not witches.Not sure if anyone else has heard this story or not?
I visited Rumbling bridge in the spring and followed the signpost to see the bridge. half a mile along the river then half a mile back to the bridge I was parked on - I didn't realise that that was the rumbling bridge - if i had I could have saved myself a walk
