Well... it depends on who I'm practicing with. if I'm with Rolf & doing the foot grab in the choke-ya pose (Ganda Bherundasana), it'd be that. Nothing really hurts physically anymore, except if I've got a little tweak. Psychologically, drop backs hurt every day! I just can't do them well, even though some days after 3rd & a little 4th they're better than the one clip I've got posted here
I don't practice that one! I doubt i could do it actually. Hanumanasana isn't all that great either though is not uncomfortable. Are there any good Samokasana clips on youtube?
I think I know what you were talking about. You're funny!!! Anyway, how long have you been practicing? My problem is disciplining myself to practice and being more consistent. Great looking series of poses you have posted!!
I was drinking wine & working at the end of a VERY long work day, that continued at home. What I mean is that the rotation of my hips is open, but my hip flexors - as in straight backward motion of thighs - not so much. I've been practicing Mysore style for like 4.5 years, but I did led primary at the gym for like 4 years prior to that, combined with other vinyasa classes. It took me awhile to get to Totally Obsessed...
No... I wouldn't say that because mine aren't especially open. My shoulders aren't either! My hands don't go to the floor w/out an assist in Prasarita Paddo C for example. Assisted they can be whammed on the floor with no preamble either palms together or apart, though teachers seem to insist upon gentle-gentle these days. It's all about proficiency with legs behind head I'd say. Open hips.
Dhalsim would be proud. XDD

Incredible!!! I can only dream of ever getting in this pose. Of course, I think it is all dependent on how great your hip flexors are, correct?
