If, as you say, that the Lord Jesus could not have paid the fine for sins, then there is no hope.
There is no way for a murderer to make himself into a non-murderer. There is no way for a liar to make himself into a non-liar.
But the Lord Jesus, because of His kind payment on the Cross, can wash away the crimes of anyone that comes to Him for forgiveness. But the Lord Jesus is a gentleman; He will not force Himself on anyone.
