  • LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

  • Got one question: I've got an impingement injury in my left shoulder and still have pain here almost a year after. I was told by a physical therapist to start working on my shoulder adducters in order to pull the shoulder blade(s) as well as my left humeral head backwards. My left humeral head is anterior migrated due to a ton of scar tussie in my left pec major. The inferior border of my left scapula wings out, so I want to do this exercise, BUT SHOULD I QUIT DOING SCAP. ADDUCTIONAL. EXERCISES?

  • @noonevincecarterfan Thanks for the Q. Anterior humeral glide syndrome is quite common and can be challenging to improve. I can not comment specifically on your condition since I have not evaluated you so I will have to defer to your P.T.'s recommendations. What I can tell you is to make sure that if you are doing adduction exercises for scapular retraining, be sure that you are also working your serratus anterior as this is the muscle that pulls the scapula and holds it to the thoracic wall.

  • thanx , been struggling with back injuries for the last 15 years and only recently found out these are due to scapular instability and the recruitment of muscles like lats which are totaly pulling my shape out - hope i havent left it too late to try and get the muscle memory around the scapula

  • I am trying to pay attention but I don't understand what this does. the exercise looks like she is not doing anything

  • @JLeeMagnetic This exercise works the serratus anterior muscle which is often weak on many people with shoulder issues or injuries. Strengthening this muscle will help with shoulder and scapular stabilization and allow for progressions.
