@69pussyallday i have a 96 cr125 and it is a hell of alot better than any new ones. just because a bike is old doesnt mean its not good anymore. newer isnt alwasy better
ahahha my godfather has full job, so he doesnt have time for going to the track, he built one on his backyard while his wife was on vacations!! LOL, when she arrived, all the garden full of mudd, and instead of her grass and flowers ahhahahaha there was the track of my godfather, now we ride every day, all day long.

yea all 125 - 150 are great starter bikes i just started when i was young and i baught another 250 yesterday and im still only 14 but thats my own call for me
hey i'm 13 and i just started riding last year, i started out with a honda 70cc to learn the basics on. anyone have an idea on what size and brand i should go with this year?
my first bike was a ttr 125, now i got a cr 125. It depends on how tall you are tho, you might want a yz/cr/kx/sx/rm 85. ttr's are alright too. its up to you bud but theres some options
Crf150r. then i would go to a 125 2 stroke or 250 4 stroke, whatever. Or if yout hink your comfortable enough can go full and get the 125. But Just choose are bike your comfortable on? how high are you.
ambition, if you dont have passion for motocross, theres no point of racing. instead get used to your bike and learn how to ride on trails. if motocross is just someting you do for fun on the weekend, theres no need to race. and big, go for a 250f, theres a reason that nobody makes 125's anymore. mxr, get a hand exercizer, excuse my spelling, and to forearm workouts. its called arm pump, and everyone gets it
Heyy guys! I'm getting 16 this year, and i've been riding for about 2 years, but not actively at all. My bike is a Yamoto 125 4 Stroke, its pretty crap but it at least lets me have fun. The reason i havent been very active is that i am so seriously nerveous before training, i've never raced before. Do you have any tips for me so i can get my nervousness down? sometimes its so big that it scares me from driving my ride and often its my dad that has to drag me to the track :( I need help!
honestly u really really need a new bike u gotta convince ur dad. any bike u race will blow that away and if u wanna be serious its just not gonna cut it. good luck convincing ur dad
you dont need a new bike to get podium in races i race a 2001 kx 80 and i get 1st sometimes but most of the time i get 3rd or better and i race againsts some kids that have 2009 yz and kx and cr and rm 80's all tricked out and they come in dead last sometimes
@imaskaterforlife WTF? everyone makes an 85 except honda! dumbass....ur probaly a kawi rider kawi 85's are fucking slow!!!!!!.....im not just saying that!
@stevieg1903 yea i have dumbass, can you see that i put "everybody MAKES"...not "everybody has made", read before you go acting like everyone else does not know as much as you do...i know for a fact i know more than you about motocross, so dont make any comments to me you GOON
the best thing i can think of to help is either dont race. or get over it. If your more nervous then you are excited to race you will never win. go out and practice and get comfertable on your bike
heey guys im 13 and im movin up to a 125 but not many companys make 125s any more and also people are saying i should jump up to a 250 fourstroke instead can anyone help = S
no stick with the 2 stokes yamaha still makes them and alot of the proffesionals would prefer to rode a 2 stroke but there poluting so thay 4 strokes that aren't as much. If u get a problem with a 250f then ur gonna have to pay alot of money sting a 250f is a bitch and if u have a little fall and get back on theres no chance of starting it soon...
you dont need a new bike to be good. but if you have the money yamaha has a 09 125 two smoke this year. there hard to find but there out there. I race a 97 rm125 and its just as fast if not faster then the 250f's ive got all the tropheys and sponsors to prove it. Go with a older bike like a 01-03 and spend some money beafing it up and you'll be fine
sponsors dont prove anything. anyone can get a sponsor if they fill out and send in a resume. i got sponsored by 4 different companies when i was 9 years old and it was my first year racing. as for trophies, it depends what class you race and in which state (to measure the competition) for example, racers in florida are typically better and more serious than racers in wyoming.
@mcfly107rm I just bought a 2003 KTM 125SX. It is like a on/off switch when it gets "on the pipe". I'm just starting out (come from a street background). I think I need a coach.
the suspension is not THAT great, but my top end has held up great. the turning radius is horrible, but you can adjust it by turning in the screws on the frame. You suppose to leaning it over in the corners anyways, which pretty much eliminates the need for a close radius.
so i got a question - i can fuckin rip for like 2 laps but my damn hands get so tired that I cant even pull in the clutch so my corners end up suckin balls.... whats a trick to getting ur hands tired ( by the way, my clutch is super hard to pull in - we're getting works connection clutch soon)
Relax ur starting out going balls to the wall and trying too hard. #1 tip start out riding slow and on your pegs. lil by lil pick up pace still riding your pegs and somewhere you'll get a 2nd wind plus you;ll start feeling the groove. riding new or fresh is dangerous, tensed, causes wrecks and will wear you out too soon. thats why they have warm ups before races.
just a matter of personal preference none are better then the other, iv always liked yamaha i ride a yz 250f the suspensions on yamahas are always good i find... sellin it now tho might get a 450 ;-)

Some people say eating banana's before a moto or training eliminates arm pump and ur hand from hurting. So try that it works for me.

works for me too!

that used to happen to me a lot. do forearm workouts like reverse curls and wrist curls. its because your holding on really hard. it sucks
