Hi LimitlessSkyz , Thanks for your comments! I've got a Panasonic DMC FZ7, set to 10 frames per second to keep the file size down, but it can be set to 30fps. It has 12x zoom, but the zoom isn't adjustable while you're videoing which can be a drawback. However filming from the window of a plane usually means no zoom is best anyway. You can get just as good quality videos even from pocket sized cameras (see my videos of Ryan Air flight from Dublin-Liverpool, taken on a compact Canon).
@Aviationography - now you'll be able to listen out for the very noisy flaps and you'll be right over the undercarriage to hear the bang as the wheels go down before landing!
