42 points behind?? WTF? A great guy like Richardson is 42 points behind? How is that even possible? Making if more people got their heads outta their asses and realized there's more than just 2 Democratic candidates, he'd actually get the support he deserves. God help us all if Hilary or Obama win the nomination.

If Musharraf truly wants to stop Islamic terrorism, he'll work on it in his own country.  We shouldn't have to make an alliance with an oppressive dipshit like him just to fight terrorism! We shouldn't have to support monarchs like the shah just to be anticommunist or antiislamist. I'm also a little ticked off at how easily corporations are allowed entry and business in nations with oppressive regimes, doing business with dictators and making money off suffering.

We funded the beginnings of al Qaeda and OBL in the late 70s and throughout the 1980s, and it bit us in the ass later on. Hell, we got saddam in power! It's time for a moral foreign policy. 2008 is the year to start. We have millions' blood on our hands because of the dictators we support.

If I were president, I would never have an alliance with a dictator. He would have to be a benevolent dictator, which is VERY rare, if not impossible. Once a military junta or dictatorship arose, I would just say, "No, I'm not gonna be your friend. Until you go back to democracy, I'm cutting off ties. I'm not supporting oppression." We have supported one regime to the next for far too long. We should cut off all ties with Musharaf until he brings democracy to Pakistan.
