is that a bond chopper? we use bristows but started usin the 92 from sctsta magic chopper for comfort and room, also much easier to load unload for us(deck crew) far better than tiger,puma 225 series
These choppers are great and really comfy compared to the super puma or the tiger. You dont have to crouch when walking inside and you have plenty of room in the seats. More humane
if you're in that situation, they'd rather pop the floats and land on the water and save everybody plus the helo. Auto'ing to a platform is not generally a good idea! If you screw it up, you'll most likely die.
Yes, it sure is a big chopper, about 11-12 tons i think?? No, this was actually a calm day, and the S-92 works better in high winds beacause it gets more "lift" that way?? (sorry about my bad english ;P )
Yes the S-92 is built to cope with extreme weather conditions. I'm suprised this wasnt chosen as the 'Presidential helicopter' for the USA, but thats another topic lol.
They already started to ditch - vibration and shaking is unbelivable - these choppers will have a very short life span....
