I use forceps to pierce tongues, lips, and earlobes only. I find them to be very good. They help me to control the tissues that would otherwise be slippery or squishy. I mostly pierce freehand. I'm curious to know your ideas as to why forceps are so bad in this particular instance. This gentleman healed his 6g piercings in 4 weeks.
F.Y.I. i put very little tension on the forceps with a tiny rubberband.
yeah, forceps making piercing someone generally easier. i mean, what are you going to use to hold on to the earlobe/tongue/body part while trying to pierce it straight? obviously not your hands.
nice job! seemed like a really clean and easy pierce.
i dont think forceps are a bad idea in this case. i usualy use a cork, but with that large of a needle forceps are a must. the lense will barely make it through the lobe before it hits the cork...at that point you may as well be free handing it.
What's wrong with forceps? I've been pierced both freehand and with clamps, and let me tell you, with the forceps they hurt much less and are generally more accurate.
i know this is old, but how much would this generally run for?

@XHermesXx
I charge 70.00 to do the piercings. A pair of glass plugs would be 40.00 so this guy paid 110.00 total
