hey im haveing a bit of truble with my computer

sometimes when i play a game or watch a video it will play it but it will freeze for a second then continue then carry out like that

well, my laptop has that too, and maybe this is the same with you, my motherboard is broke, a little scratch and it ruined everything... maybe your motherboard has been hurt too? go to a pc store to check it out...

Vista x64 SP1 on two machines with 7900 GT cards - err since Oct 2008. Tried clean OS install, driver vers from 100.65 to 181.22. Errors include "stopped responding", blue screen in nvlddmkm.sys, primary monitor displaying dia lines, app flashing and having redraw probs when moving from one display to another. Tried manual removal of all driver files before doing next version of nvidia update. Fix - turn off all 3D features and set to 16 bit colour. Replace nvidia cards with Matrox. Grr

you have the same vid card as me that hapens to me too just shut down or restart or enable hibronate if you havent dont use sleep mode with that vid card it goes crazy for me 2

i think you should open the task manager in processes tab see if there is explorer.exe if not, click file new task then run explorer.exe (to open task manager press Ctrl+Alt+Delete... that will do it i solve my problem like that.

A had this same problem. But i have a solution for you, brother.

Just do a BIOS modification. Put the video card clocks's higher ou lower and overwrite the old bios.

If you don't know how to do go to google and search for "nvidia bios flah".

Many people are doing this same stuff and get their 7900GT cards back in action with windows vista "bug" drivers...

Try with carefull and give us the answer about your problem solution.

ur window vista things is a lot no need so much thing...and its noisy too...mine are silent no noise at all.i use nvidia geforce 9300 the 2nd highest machine...it works fast and no noise...if u want to use X32 graphic u must use Nvidia

Take sleep mode off of your computer (turn it off)

It wastes an incredible amount of memory. Just turn the computer completely off when you're not using it. But hybernate and sleep waste more memory than when the computer is running normally.

i have 50" high definition monitor alienware, 4 gig ram, 2x geforce 8800 sli mode graphic card, core 2 extereme, 1 terabyte hard drive 10k/rpm, g5 mouse, wireless keyboard alienware, 2pcs 19" monitor for mutiple display mode, i got nforce motherboard but i forgot which one and i already boost up the speed of my processor using the overclock thingy..i have vista ultra and linux beryl in my 2 computer.and etc....we own one generic computer shop here in philippines lol

Ahahah, you are such an idiot, there is no 1 Terabyte Hard Drive running at 10 000RPM, only Hard Drives that run at 10 000RPM or faster are SATA150 Raptors or SCSI, only sad thing, they don't exceed 150GB, so we are far away from 1TB. And you don't seem to know what you are talking about either, the overclocking thingy? You just say you overclocked your CPU, but you probably don't know how to do that... And there is no Vista Ultra either. Done bragging about imaginatory components?
