  • i do have a problem with this video. I'm not in your country so I am entitled to say it. There is no such thing as God. Stop messing with todays generations. This is the 21st century. GET OVER IT!!!!

  • @dj17q why dont u STFU and go back to whatever piece of crap country u come from u tard!

  • @steve4nj Thats alright, I dont know who you are, fuckhead, but I will still stick to what i've said. Again, there is no god so stop fucking around with today generations u piece of shit. We have the facts, so why you and your fucktards try and catch up for a change.

  • @steve4nj By the way, perhaps u need to have a good look at yourself. Seems to me you're abit hollow in ur friggin nog, fucktard!!!

  • Reenlisted on board her and the USS Arizona.

  • beautiful ship>.love from england

  • I got to go abord whin my father was stashond in brimington

  • Sad

  • Mighty Mo , you still kick arse !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • America did well to cherish its great naval history. Britain, the country which invented the modern battleship, did away with every single one of them. Criminal.

  • Missouri still has her engines and fire rooms. They have not turned in 20 years, though. Towing was faster and cheaper.

  • does the missouri still have power and why did they tow her does she still have her engines can some one tell me please

  • @no1butmeau its beacuse they havent been used in forever. imagine not using your muscles for a year. the ship never used her engines for 10+ years D: ...

  • It is an awesome ship. I just wish they would have let us into the big guns when I was on it.

  • RESPECT ! A sleeping giant and a titan of history !

  • I remember going to Bremerton as a kid to visit the Missouri before she was recommissioned by President Reagan. It was hard to see her go after being with us for so many years but I was proud to know that she was once again going to serve her country.

  • @floydfreak63

She must have been great to see in the mothball fleet there. the Navy chose to send her to Pearl Harbor because of the Japanese surrender connection. Prior to the MO coming to PH, all visitors had to look at was the sunken Arizona. This way there is a feeling of victory and closure.

  • @WhiteGinger5 When she was finally retired I was thrilled to find out she was going to Pearl. The symbolism is very powerful: Side by side, the places where the war began and ended for the United States.

  • my band class and i went pearl harbor and went on the uss missouri

  • Great video. Thank you for sharing!

  • doesn't she still have her engines?

  • Yes but they haven't turned in years. it is more cost efficient to have her towed to the dock.
