  • Gee... each time I cry

  • wow this very special

  • I love how you can see the stallion stopping to think things over

  • I believe Mr. Buck Brannaman could learn a thing or two from Mr. Hempfling. I love his techniques. He is truly amazing.

  • Hempfling this is a beautiful example of how to handle a horse, I do agree with the other comments on here - why people choose to own a stallion when they are neither equipped or able to handle one is a recipe for disaster.

  • KFH is amazing with horses. It's incredible to watch the comunication between him and the horses he works with.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Very nice video, thanks for sharing!

  • The huge yawn at 2:12 is like the horse is saying, "At last! My war is over!"

  • wow

  • All I saw wsa the owners not knowing how to handle a horse

  • totally amazing!

  • But having said my piece about 'English dressage'- Hempfling is in a different league to other so called 'Natural Horsemen' ;-) !! I love his work.

  • Erm.......excuse me!! 'English dressage'? England is notable for it's absence of a dressage background, with the exception of the Duke of Newcastle and James Fillis, we have no classical background.

We were a nation of cross country riders until competition dressage started to take off here in the 1970's, to the detriment of riding, as far as I am concerned, as the emphasis on light hands especially, is nowhere to be seen nowadays.

  • This is beautiful and graceful - I have just watched a VERY disturbing video of linda? parelli apparently beating the crap out of a horse - some comments were saying that's what you have to do, The horse gives and she beats him, he has a chain that is hitting his mouth and he "licks and chews" this is from impact not from thought.

the video of Ms parelli was called "horse-man-shit" pardon the swearword please

  • @horseincar I agree, it's videos like that, that have turned me away from the parelli, money making machine. Have you also seen the video of Pat with Catwalk at the festival of the horse.

Parelli followers say this was a one off and that it was a mistake. But there are so many examples of how awful their methods are. There is a Facebook group which discusses how awful parelli is - Parelli is neither "natural" nor "horsemanship"

  • @MissHeatherAnn1 Yes, I have seen that video! It was awful! I can't believe they resorted to painful physical restraints on that poor horse. I have also seen a video of Linda Parelli trying to teach someone to lunge their horse, and she totally confuses the poor horse, and then punishes it for being "naughty" when it is just trying to do what she is asking.

  • @zhivana punishing a horse for being "naughty" is one of the serious dangers of anthropomizing. Parelli also says one should castrate all non breeding stallions, this makes sense using such methods. I have but 3 years of experience with horses (started when my colt was born) and at 3 years of age my colt thinks the mares are mine. He'll fiercely fight all other stallions for them and win, but if I call the mares, he moves away. All thanks to Klaus' teachings! Horses don't have problems, we do.

  • @DJBelbe I just read your comment and found it interesting to see someone actually admitting to little (relatively) horse experience. It's good to have that kind of outlook. Now you wait till you start interacting with other colts, etc and start LEARNING with no one telling you. It starts to get exciting when later you read about what you've already lived through, then you start taming colts and you see how unridden horses become ridable through your work, it just feels great. Good luck.

  • @DJBelbe

Seen it allso many times that people want to own a stallion sow bad

And then it turns ot they cant handel them, they become a danger.

Parelli is totally wright when saying you should castrate if not used as a stud.

    I

  • This is amazing......... what more can I say??? Oh apart from the horse being not able to trust to follow the human!

  • Simply beautiful!

  • what would u recommend for a horse thats scared of everything?

  • @MajiksGurl224 ,Does the scared horse have a halter on?If it does,I can give you some advice.I have 18 Arabians, the spookiest of all breeds.

  • @MajiksGurl224 patience, and confidence on your behalf for once, forget bout his behavior. I had a mare like that once, and she turned into the bravest horse I've ever seen. just give her time to aproach things, relax and lead him towards whatever he's scared of, and give him time to acknowledge it.

  • Amazing!

    I love Hempflings work.

  • so sweet. It gave me chills.

  • Amazing!! I had a very aggressive QH filly that I had to get rid of (she went to a really good home with someone who is really good at training youngsters) But it's great to see the connection...when the horse relaxes and you can almost feel his relief that someone understands him...I wish I had been able to do that with my filly.

  • Hempfling is the Ultimate!!

  • Wow. That was an amazing video. 5 stars!

  • Really great work. In my opinion much more powerful than Monty Roberts or Parelli, Certainly needs also much more knowledge, feeling and stength of character. I feel that I need to learn from this man!

  • My god, what is that MUSIC? It's so cool! It fits Hempfling's work perfectly; primitive and spiritual <3

  • Isn't he amazing? Does Hempfling speak English?

  • Yep!

  • He sure does speak English, as well as German, Danish and Spanish.

  • great working with this stallion!!

they are great when they allow u to guide the use of their power and energy in parterner ship with humans.

  • One of the best in this series in showing the process! Thanks!

  • Thank-you for sharing, I was so moved, extremely moved! He is the most brilliant horseman I have ever seen.

  • A man with horse soul

Kneel before him, indeed. Bravo Bravo Bravo.

  • I love watching him. Thanks for posting

  • You don't need a decent cameraman, but an open hart to understand....

  • Klaus is really stunning!!

ooo how I wish he made more videos with a decent camera man (so we could see his moves at least more often than not)

My lusitano colt is one heck of a troublesom little boy! I'm trying to teach him without using force but even though that has worked somewat fine I still can't seem to make him understand I'm the leader beyond questioning... O_o~~~* Then again, not even the herd's stallion could convince him of that! lolol

  • That horse is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

  • A startling feeling of respect, hope and trust came over me while observing man and horse.

The second the horse surrendered to man, I got this overwhelming yearning feeling, as if I carry the same longing inside me to just surrender to life.

    Kathleen

  • whats the name of the songs? It´s so beautiful. Hempfling is fantastic!

  • To watch the way of the human who does not in anyway fight with the angry horse is truly inspirational. Thank you for sharing this video with us

  • Really amazing. I will definitely be taking lessons as soon as I graduate.

  • Wonderful

  • Thank you for posting this video. I am very happy to see images of your recent work. I know you now for more than 15 years and see that your work is still developping. You are very grounded and soft in your movements - your calmness bigger then ever. I am looking forward to have you in Holland
