There was not a "direct" link to 9-11. That is very different than saying there was no link. There is plenty of evidence (starting with the 9-11 report) of links between terrorist groups and Saddam. Any other claims are lies. All the 9-11 attackers had lived in the US and received their flight training in the US. Does that mean the US trained the terrorist? Hell no, but both arguments are equally a lie.

On January 23, 2004, David Kay resigned as head of the Iraq Survey Group, stating that Iraq did not have WMD and that "I think there were stockpiles at the end of the first Gulf War and a combination of U.N. inspectors and unilateral Iraqi action got rid of them. Before the first gulf war, before Operation Desert Fox. You haven't even read the Duelfer Report have you? Over 1200 inspectors, 15 months, no WMD and no evidence that WMD were moved to Syria. Um, If Iraq didn't have WMD's, then what did Saddam use on all those Kurds? He used Chemical and Biological weapons, and he was real close to having a nuclear weapon. The only reason we couldn't find WMD's in Iraq is he sent most of them to Syria, or he burried them. We did find 4 chemical weapons in 2004 that was burried 30 miles West of Baghdad.

There was not a "direct" link to 9-11. That is very different than saying there was no link. There is plenty of evidence (starting with the 9-11 report) of links between terrorist groups and Saddam. Have we forgotten the UN resolutions he broke and votes in the UN and in the US that gave the OK for military action? Are these discussions about political sides or are they about getting at the truth? Many here don't seem to be as interested in the truth.

And giving a safe haven to AQ to rest and give medical treatment for fighter's wounded in Afghanistan. The resolution used to go after AQ in Afghan was used to get AQ in Iraq.

I had an opportunity to talk with a Marine captain that took the camp at Salman Pak and he confirmed that alQueada had been using the camp.

The Dulfer Report said there were no useable WMD's in Iraq since Operation Desert Fox in December of 1998. As for Al-Queida in Iraq, they weren't there operationally until after Bush invaded. Any other claims are lies. All the 9-11 attackers had lived in the US and received their flight training in the US. Does that mean the US trained the terrorist? Hell no, but both arguments are equally a lie.
