i live near him and i had a lesson with him yesterday. he still bowls really good. he says he has never missed a 10 pin since the early 2000's.

I too knew Kurt from Junior bowling days. Does he still bowl in the PBA anymore:

He bowls in regional events and national events near his home.

Makes sense. Going full-time on the PBA can't be an easy way to pay bills. The money is just not enough.

No unfortunately, he dealt with a health issue but he still bowls in local and regional tourneys. I know one thing, he is a hell of a ball driller! Hazel Park Bowl- Hazel Park, Michigan.

I used to bowl with Kurt back in the junior circuit (1990's) we had a lot of fun and I only wish he would make a strong comeback, great talent. Good Vid!

This was the infamous "Koko Taylor" show and was the first show following 9/11 which probably has a lot to do with Randy being somewhat reserved.

Wow, Randy Pedersen sounds much more reserved. I'm assuming this was one of his first telecasts, if not the first. Anyone know who the other guy was? I think he covered the PBA for just a year or two and his name was Jim something.
