  • I like both of Ill Niño and Faith No More. Ill Niño but was unfortunate in that cover!

  • how dare u insult FNM with this bullshit?

  • cuanto me gusta esta cover.. me encanta..

  • i love pounding your moms asshole out to this song

  • Love the heavy part just not the beginning.

  • @townclutz99 the begining is what makes it.

noteverything has to start with shit turned up to 11.

  • @chavwithagun I didn't say anything about it being loud. I just don't like the way they did the beginning. Overall it's a good cover.

  • This song>original

  • I like what they've done. And I'm a Patton/FNM/SC3/Bungle loyalist.

  • props to ill nino for bringing back one of my fav's, and they rock it in they own, my head's bangin'

  • Awful, just awful...

Who would ever let this man sing?

  • @sinbysin666 Don't hate your mom loves to listen to this song while I pound her asshole out.

  • @Darthsikk You've just proven to me that only retards listen to this stuff. Congratz, have a nice day.

  • @sinbysin666 Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaw, Somebody doesn't have a sense of humor, and obviously still cries himself to sleep at night. I would stop the whining now, it just makes you look like more of a dipshit. Not to mention, that your mom doesn't cry at all when I pound her asshole out, no lube!

  • @Darthsikk That's not humour. It's like if I just said "u mad bro". It's a pathetic low-blow that everyone has in the back of their heads, but only utilize it, when they have absolutely nothing to add, but feel they need to feel superior.

  • @sinbysin666 First off, it's only a "low blow" if it's true. Second off, if I wanted to illicit a visceral reaction I certainly have more productive avenues to pursue. Further, "u mad bro" is nothing but a cliche'ed internet tough guy riposte to someone speaking well over your head in soapbox format. Which you're incapable of doing. Not that I don't think you're intelligent, just not smarter than I. Beyond that, "humor" is purely subjective, making your comment moot at it's root. So relax.

  • PS - I totally pound your moms ass out on regular basis to this song.

  • @Darthsikk I'll respond for the sake of responding. It's like a tick.

  • @sinbysin666 I'll respond for the sake of pounding your moms ass out to this song. :P

  • dal vivo col cavolo che riescono a rifarla così...Patton e soci sono di un altro pianeta!

  • dal vivo col cavolo che riescono a rifarla così...Patton e soci sono di una altro pianeta!

  • although good, this is still not mike patton, and noone else will ever be.

  • I think this is great!

  • solid cover

  • no one can copy mike patton, but i guess brandon boyd and daryl palumbo can make a great pair doing cover on this one , or todd smith from dog fashion disco , but still no one can beat patton

  • Oh please, stop sucking Patton's cock all of the time. I'm a huge fan, he's got an amazing voice and he might be my number one inspiration as a singer but he's actually quite often using effects to enhance his vocals. Any numbnut could hear that if his or her ears weren't encrusted by Patton spunk ;P

  • @Cyrillion He doesn't use them to enhance his vocals, they're vocal effects & they make his voice give off weird noises at the same time. Auto-tuning is something that enhances your vocals. Mike deserves the credit he gets.

  • @TheStaticXRadio

never said he wasn't amazing, but delay pedals, distortion, etc. do enhance vocals (making it sound more interesting, adding more layers, etc.) and there's nothing wrong with using them. You wouldn't crucify a guitarist for using them either. Of course if by "enhance" you only mean 'turn pig-squeals into something sort of resembling actual singing' aka autotune, he doesn't do that.

  • It's by no means 'bad', just... not as breath-takingly brilliant as the original. FNM aren't the easiest band to cover, and I'm sure nearly every vocalist gets put off by the idea of touching a Patton song...

  • one of the only decent FNM covers i heard, not great but decent.

  • lets be honest you only clicked on this epic song cos zombie was in the title

  • @SharkM1000 I don´t get it Lol

A decent Cover for a Brilliant Song :3

  • I love chino, but I'm not sure about this one.

  • this cover is a disgrace- I renamed it on my iTunes Artist: "Terrible Band"

  • @toymasheenSH

YEAH NO PLAN FROM GOOd MUSIC... god bless you son maybe soon you will se this music is the right way ;)

  • @metaler551 yeah I will see it the "Faith No More" way

  • Being a huge deftones, ill nino and faith no more fan, I gotta say this is amazing!!! Sure its not the orginal i get that, but its still amazing. Chino is god!!!

  • this is about as bad as the band name

  • any chance people can write their own material these days?

  • For one of my all-time fav song's, these boys did justice

  • Mix Patton's voice with the heavier guitars of this version and we have the perfect Franken-song. Too bad Patton died... wait no, that was some other guy.

  • 4 letters------------- F-A-I-L

  • @pablo1982100 Are you describing your life in general?

  • @charger619c stop crying, chino sucks, face it...

  • There is no reason for anyone to cover a Mike Patton song, there is no way anyone can do it better than Mike, FAITH NO MORE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i've never heard this cover, this is awesome.

  • i <3 chino & i <3 ill nino, i was fucking stoked when i bought this ill nino album and saw there was a song w chino! still my fav song

  • to tell you the truth....i've looked up all the covers that other bands did of faith no more...and they all suck. except for this one. this is the best FNM Cover, and i dont even really like Ill Nino that much. although, i do like the original of course...and this song gets extra points for having Chino Moreno as BG Vocals.

  • umm just so people know CHINO is not in this fuckin band just so ya know so u quit sounding like idiots

  • @BobfknFox But is that Chino singing on this song? Damn sure sounds alot like him. Or is it just someone trying to sound like Chino?

  • Out of all the FNM covers other bands have done this one is the best by far. They actually did the band justice. Only thing is why does it end early?

  • Chino is the Shit!

  • EXTRA!!!!SO MUCH POWER IN THIS SONG

  • Comment removed

  • You're absolutely right. Not sure what I was thinking that day. Mike Patton is my hero.

  • I'm a PATTON FREAK COLLECTOR, I think no one can touch him, BUT I THINK THIS IS A GOOD COVER, this guy can sing, and he does something cool here, if you cover a song and do the SAME THING, i don't get that, but this guy has a good voice, i like the beginning slow part the best - and i may not like this bad, i'm just saying this guy is good

  • wheres the rest of the song

  • I like it ignore the haters some fans are really assholes when people cover their favorite band.

  • @darkstar3x16

You`re absolutely right some people are really ignorant and hating about a fantastic band and cover. I mean this song is a damm good tribute to a great song.

  • One of my favorite FNM songs that never got the respect it deserved. I'm liking the cover though--Chino's vocals are a good touch.

  • oh deary me...

  • The amazing Chino Moreno from Deftones on Lead Vocals amazing!!!!

  • shut he fuk up are u kidding me..amazing...wow i cant get over this sons!!!respect

i stop listening to u guys a minute ago cos i went through a bullshit break up and everytime i heard an ill song it killed me...mad love!!

  • This is a great cover. I'm a huge fan of Mike Patton and FNM, but Chino Moreno is also a great singer. He adds his own style to this. Nothing wrong with that. Why would anyone make a cover trying to sound exactly like Patton? Patton is king. Nobody can top that. Now enjoy the fucking song, dammit.

  • Chino Moreno kicked ass on this song. <3 ill nino.

  • I dont think ANYONE should be covering Faith No More. Patton's voice is amazing just the way it is. No one can be him soo.. lets stop with the awful covers.

  • @casperxmandy ridiculous, if someone wants to cover it they should

  • @casperxmandy No one is trying to be him you idiot!! The point of a cover is NOT to sound like the original!! It's supposed to be the artists interpretation of the song. Nothing is better than when a metal band takes an old classic rock song and screams it out and does death growls and shit. Check out the Agony Scenes cover of Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones!! My all time favorite cover!!

  • Had he actually sang the chorus, it would be better... it sounds all monotone and flat to me.

  • The original is so much better. It's a decent cover, but Mike puts way more feeling into it. And I found the screamo bit to be unnecessary.

  • nor does he need a nine member band to make an "epic" (no pun intended) sounding song or album!!!

  • Ill Nino is amazing,I can't wait for the new album to come out...

  • It's a decent cover. It lacks the depth, talent and raw emotion of the original.

All the studio effects seem to put the artists down a long tunnel that separates them from the listeners. Also a bit whiny and popy.

  • As much as I want to hate on this cover... I can't. It's honestly not that bad. Has more depth then FNM's original. But NOTHING compares to Mike Patton's creations!

  • Comment removed

  • More depth than the original? The original is a heart stopper - check out the version on "Live At Brixton - You Fat Bastards". This is actually a poor rendering of the song. I love the Deftones/Chino but leave well enough alone.

  • i need to know!! why is this song called zombie eater when the lyrics are about how a baby looks at his mother

i need to know what does the title of this song mean

  • @74gore It probably means nothing, but if you wanna think deep into it, it could mean how sometimes parents become over burdened and depressed when having a kid. Almost like a zombie, but at the same time the kid is leeching off of her. So its like hes a zoombie eater. Like hes the zombies, zombie. If that makes sense lol

  • im hooked

  • respectable enough cover, but Patton doesn't need effects to make his voice huge.

  • @sarahlyn505 now i've seen ill niño live, you must believe me, his voice isn't that diffrent on stage

  • @sarahlyn505 He uses a ton of effects

  • @sarahlyn505 clean ur eyes homie, i hear plain ole microphone... Chino kills this bitch

  • @sarahlyn505 cualquiera pelotuda q efecto???

  • this is way better than the original!! :)

  • @72dew lol not even close

  • chino <3

  • hellyeah

  • This voice can't be compared to MIke Patton's. Mike Patton is vocal genius.

  • go chino go chino!!!

  • This is a bad ass rendition of one of the greatest bands of all times greatest songs!

  • @WeMustBeStopped and curiousidiot89, I know KenDuHast's comment is kinda blunt, but he is just stating his opinion..and WeMustBeStopped, I gotta agree with you there, if it ain't broke, don't fix it..true..nice song, btw ^-^

  • Great Cover,.....couldn't have picked a better line up

  • Very good song. forgot the name of this song till i was looking at the lyrics

  • that was so damn gay they give faith no more a bad name with their emo ass cover it has nothing to do with the the song.

  • @KenDuHast you clearly missed the whole point

  • @KenDuHast Oh, c'mon, it's a pretty faithful cover without too much extra added whine or anything. The percussion is awful tough, I mean, listen to that guy throwing it down. Of course, if you asked me, I always say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

  • je kiffe ill nino

  • je kiffe ill nino

  • i so love this cover.

    totally amazing.

cristian's and chino's voice fit so perfectly together

  • this isnt the full song?

  • :D absolute narcissistic song demolition !

  • Am I the only one who likes this better than the original?

  • @lucky7ls

well... Mr. Patton can sing anything, in any key, any range... from death metal to opera...

we could hear everything really, but never a false note, not even one...

totally different level, MP-level :D not a good idea to imitate him... IMO

  • @lucky7ls nope buddy, ur not

  • noo!!! hahaha me too

  • @lucky7ls

    yeah i like this too

  • original is simply better...

  • What the fuck is this shit?! I'm like about to cry! They KILLED this song!

  • ill Nino RULES.XD

  • Great Cover! Nice that theýve got Chino to sing on it! I think they´re both big Faitn no More Fans.

  • I'm so addicted to this song..XD

  • one of my favourite fnm songs :D

  • @scorpula441 ood now go listen to the original

  • @tmark618 I already did.....I like the cover better.

  • @scorpula441 go listen to the original..this is not bad..but respet for a band from 80´s..Christian Machado couldnt say about this cover that is better than the original..

IS A SACRILEGE!!!please!!..Try to understand old music..I did and I happier than before..Sorry for my english..

  • @anormalnick you were right , The original one does sounds very good.....Its not that bad at all :)

  • @anormalnick ok-ok, agreed

but FNM never was "a band from the '80s", they were a band that has made a lasting impact on the development of rock music by creating unique music. that's why FNM is legend and their music stil works! (not to mention the massive fan base of Mike Patton's insane voice, literally insane...)

  • @hiljaisentalvenlapsi the band was formed in 80´s

I love a lot of song of 88 and 89....

    sorry for my english..

I know all what a re you saying..but mine is true too..

  • @anormalnick of course it was formed in the '80s, but never actually played music like the '80s, though i have no problems with music from the '80s

oh, and no problem, my English isn't perfect either ;)

  • @hiljaisentalvenlapsi they played live since 85..

the triumph of the band was in 90´s..

to me is a 80´s band..

  • @anormalnick that's what you think, but i think, though it was formed in 1981, and its first album was released in 1985... their time truly started with Mike P, but doesn't matter... cause the thing i was talking about is... that... the kind of music they play(ed) was/is not like '80s, not with Mosely, not with Patton... not at all, never

    but hey love and peace^^

  • @hiljaisentalvenlapsi .. peace always..its a silly discussion..

mike patton gived them the real thing.. :D

Im gonna see them next weekend, Faith no more, slayer, deftones, meshuggah, porcupine tree and more bands!

    cant fucking wait!

  • @anormalnick haha, me too :D, but i geuss, you're gonna see them in Madrid or Bilbao and i'm in Novi Sad

    next weekend! yeah!!!

  • @hiljaisentalvenlapsi hahahaha..yeah man! good luck with your shows!!

we wont need it.. they are BIG bands!! hahaha..

    we are lucky !!

  • it would be a good cover if they asked mike patton to sing sorry IMO hes the best singer in music with his range etc

  • Right, Mike Patton is probably the best singer ever. But Chino from Deftones is pretty good too, don't you think ? it's not a very good cover anyway... Imo, a cover song that is better than the original don't exist in Metal domain

(excuse my english, I'm from france)

  • @AkaikenSatsugai it DOES exist. Disturbed covered Down With The Sickness and Shout. and they epically raped both songs with Metal.

although they aren't that great now.

  • @TreyMetalGuitarist they covered shout, land of confusion and living after midnight, but down with the sickness is a song that richard cheese covered FROM them... he turns a lot of rock songs into jazz.

  • I can't stop listening to this...its very catchy for me..xD

  • ehh its soso but it cant touchhhhhhhhhh fnms by far

  • This music puts me on a mood to be in love with a hot babe...it very catchy for me

  • yessssssssssssssssssssssss

  • Ill Nino Rules!!..xD

  • i got chills listening to this song, but originals are always better

  • Chino Moreno on vocals makes it through :) sorry he's just amazin : )

  • i prefer the soft part of this version but the heavy part of the original

  • i was about to say wtf to this.lol

    ill nino badass band. =)

  • ok I love Chino and all, But his vocals are a little over processed. Mike Patton sounds perfect with no effects on his voice. case closed.

  • Its pretty good -nobody can top F n M though!!!

  • damn its cut right before the best part

  • I love this version of zombie eaters..... I'm a huge fan of ill nino.....This version rocks)))),,,Its sounds better than faith no more...I wonder where I can find the under cover session of this album,,,I already collected 4 ill nino albums))

  • first of all... this band blows without chino doing the favor of lending his sweet pipes to this. its not horrible. but then again when you mimic high genius, its not hard. however NO ONE will EVER do it better than FNM. some people obviously need Q tips. secondly, it is about child neglect. Pattons metaphors need actual thought to decipher. i understand the admiration, but bands should leave FNMs music alone. no one f's with Einstiens theory of relativity right? genius is genius.

  • not right, you are such an idiot... and bands should always have high goals with their music, ...and covers are awesome and the more the better, as proven with "hurt" by Johnny Cash.... and as for covers of FNM, seriously? is it that complex to play FNM for you??,,,,

  • I agree, high goals with THEIR music. I love covers! totally. But stick to something you can COMPLIMENT, not butcher. The complexity of FNM songs isn't the issue. Some of their songs are downright SIMPLE. But i PERSONALLY feel that FNMs music is too good to be chopped up by a band with lesser talent. Cash did an AMAZING job w/ "Hurt", but how does that prove "the more covers, the better" covers are awesome, but in reality there's only about 10% of them that are compliments to the original. noych

  • i love this song...but i think FNM does it better..but either way it's a great song..and this song IS about the relationship between a child and it's mother...no one can break that bond..im a mother myself..so i think i should kno hahaha

  • Chino Moreno on vocals how perfect :)

  • what? FNM are amazing u doosh plus its probably chino on vocals that made the track

  • the singer doent compete. well maybe nobody can.

  • Just so people give it up:

This song is about newborn infants and their relationship with their mother. Nothing to do with Jesus.

  • actually its about child neglect.

  • I agree, this sounds about right

  • dl at limewire get the faith no more version way better

  • does anybody know where i can dowlnoad this song

  • hey dude do u know were i can download this song

  • yt 2 mp3 converter?

  • whats that?

  • youtube to mp3 converter ... download it free ... search @ google

  • just buy the album ;)

  • Kinda wierd, but not bat at all.

  • I'm a little taken back by how narrow minded people are being.

  • When a song is properly composed (read "a REALLY GOOD SONG"), it doesn't matter into which style it's transposed, it'll always sound good. This case is no exception.

  • una mierda de cover, hicieron cagar un gran tema...

  • demasiado buena es como la original pero repotenciada

  • The acoustic guitar sounds a tons better. Awesome as J Martin was (and he was a beast) they never really got a very good sound out of him on the records at all.

  • It's so refreshing to see a newer band actually do a decent cover of a Faith No More song. Atreyu has nothing on Lil Nino, although Lil Nino still has nothing of Faith No More. That being said however, I like this cover and I thank Lil Nino for doing this song justice.

  • I agree completely. i still like atreyu though, but Ill Niño more.

For future its spelt ill niño, not Lil niño.

  • Ill....oh fugg I don't think I meant to misspell it, but oh shit happens. But, yeah Ill Nino did a good job.

  • It's Ill Nino not lil ... Ill as in I-l-l the first is a capital i then the next two are l's (un-capital L)

  • Uuuh thanks, but somebody else already corrected me. Besides...I only misread it. Not a big deal, but thanks for making sure.

  • FINALLY ! A band which does a cover of a song from Faith No More and does it justice. Although not as good as the original version, but decent anyways !

  • that's cuz Ill Nino is a great f-ing band

  • As a massive fan of the original, agree entirely - this cover is probably the best I've ever heard of any of their stuff. As a side note I wish they would release a remaster of The Real Thing - the CD recording technology back in 1989 was all quietened down and rounded off cos of idiots who thought "digital" music would slash speakers.

  • excelente, podria decir que mejor que hasta el tema propio, pero no me arriesgo tanto jajajaja

  • They use a hell of a lot of phasey reverb on this especially on the vocal and guitar. I'm not sure if I like the way it sounds on the quiet parts.

The heavier bit works out ok tho'.
