Ok a couple of things that if you played the game youd know.

Firstly it isnt a taser, its a nanosuit calibrator, aka useless against aliens

Secondly, it was short because its a standalone expansion to Crysis.

Thirdly, I'm amazed that the top rated comment isnt "Im British you muppet", most of the time people get thumbs ups for quoting the cutscene :P

You know if you listen closely... that's not Nomad. That's Oniel, sounds identical to Oniel under the session where they're first giving it a go. So it would seem Nomad's callsign comes from the fact that Oniell was the one just before him that failed the test. Nomad's voice is deeper pitched.

Thus, I think this is were Nomad got his callsign due to Oniell's failure. IE: "Not Mad" where Oniell was willing to fail the test by bypassing protocol.
