If there is Ever a African Country or any country in general that shows proof the the white race is not the "Champion race" of the earth. How are Ethiopians the first Christians? I'm pretty sure the 12 Jews and (and their savior) the 13th Jew, Jesus; were the first. Also, some Ethiopian church CLAIMS to have the covenant of the ark, but they of course won't let anyone see it and 100 other churches make the same claim. Finally, who cares about religious crap. @Peter43John With all due respect no British troops fought in Ethiopia in 1941 they helped in the aid of some arms and some training on some modern weaponry not saying that wasn't good help to an old ally when they didn't have planes or tanks or modern guns of that day but still was holding its territory while italy use of gas, & civilian and churches being targeted every rule of engagement broken, & Ethiopia were known to capture many modern weapons from the Italians during battles won as well.

@EuroFascist if you think by looking at this video "Italians won" this video is based on 1935 which showed them fighting bravely while fighting against chemical warfare this is when Italy started the war it ended in 1941 first conflict to really kick off ww2 but history shows while Mussolini hung with hes privates in hes mouth the emperor of Ethiopia still had a NON COLONIZED Country they don't speak Italian in Ethiopia why hitler did not have help from italy by the end of ww2 only japan left?

@Jopari444 those years you are mentioning were nothing more than occupation years at which half the country still was not in italy's control was the emperor captured? Did Italy take the capital, did they change the laws, language, boarders? Here's an example of occupation that leads to defeat when it may seem a country in conquered but yet the fight never stopped, How long did Russia stay till they couldn't stay in afghanistan anymore and left with tails between there legs so did italy leave.

@Jopari444 Prior to the Emperor leaving to go to Britain he moved the Government to Gore the Italians did take addis abba without a battle just a long march, But the government of Ethiopia was already moved. the Italians came into a empty city there was no declaration of surrender no battle just them taking over a palace. but a guerrilla war began at this point against them. Yes the Italians used the march as a Propaganda event. you made me check wikipedia they even say the government was moved.

@Ethglorydays History always forgets when the Ethiopians help the British gain Sudan against the Mahdist (Britain had a treaty with Ethiopia starting1884)they defeated all western advances and non western throughout its history. This isn't told in the West because it doesn't cater to history of Africans. Ethiopians help the West take land from its own continent do your research, treaties weren't made over night they fought and defeated and helped those that once tried to take the land.

@toasty3939 You must have been doing research on books that was written by Ethiopians,which they always mislead their own people.Examples every Ethiopians I know they were thought at school as Djibouti&Eritrea were their own;the whole Ogaden region was given to Ethiopia by the British in 1948, during Ethiopia v Somalia war1977/79war Russians helped them weapons and Cuba15000 Cuban solders.Also Ethiopians had never fought against Eritrea by themselves.I bet your research doesn’t include all this.

@Ethglorydays I research everyones history and I give credit when it is due. Eritrea the Italians annex not through war but they were giving a trading post and they ended up fortifying the area so much that it would have been impossible at the time to regain it due to the location and fortification where the italians set up but yet Ethiopia fought a war and annexed it back but due to the u.n. vote they let them vote & declare independence. U.S armed Somalia against Ethiopia. Cold war chess play.

Every country the west took they used natives to assist since Cortez or in most cases had the natives fight and then install a puppet that will let the west come in to protect them and then take theirs. Somalia was Italian and U.S Backed Ethiopia was Cuban and Soviet backed. They defended and when fighters came from abroad they didn't go away.

He means it's not an Ethiopian language. The language used with the Emperor was Amharic, but this is neither Amharic nor another Ethiopian language. It sounds like a clip from a movie inserted in what was soundless footage.
