It truly amazes me how people can be so critical about someone that has a special talent. Perhaps if they followed her story from the start and put themself in her position they MIGHT understand. She's great! because she's overcome the stupid stigma that only people with lots of plastic surgery, constantly on a diet or purging, and extremely skinny are allowed to be famous or recognized for their talent. I don't agree, I think she has a very good voice. I have a bit of a problem with this song because I'm so familiar with the original. Also, this has the feel of 'classical' 'discipline' which doesn't tend to transfer to Pop/Rock so well. So many examples but just contrast Sea Of Love by Phil Phillips and Robert Plant. Phillips' has a charm but the vocal is inflexible in emotive intonation - similar to Boyle.
