Barely any singers these days actually do have strong voices. Its called auto tune and studio effects, and play backs at live shows. Danii Minogue has one of the weakest voices going.
I actually think Simon had a point because he was only 24 and he has to realize that his voice is not going to get him anywhere. Being realistic, if he went to college and got some sort of degree he would probably have a pretty good job, whereas if he continued to waste his time with singing, he would be living off his mum and dad for the rest of his life or working in McD's.
Nikk is an amazing singer, he rocks everywhere, no matter the size of the venue. he recently played at my golf club and he was absolutely fantastic. from the same home town and he is soo genuine and willingly to talk to anyone and everyone. gets the dancefloor rocking and i believe one day he will make it! he has the voice and he deserves it! :D and.................he's fit in person hahhaha <3

If he got a chance and some training to use his airway correctly he would have had amazing possibilities. They can't expect him to be a perfect singer on the first audition.

I felt so bad watching this. He wasn't the best, let's be honest, but he wasn't completely awful. What hurt me was seeing him so crushed, so...destroyed. I have a lot of friends who are very talented singers, who want to audition for these types of shows, and I would feel so awful if I had to judge them.

wow, some people really should take simon's advice. I just saw a video of Nikk today, performing at the pride ball (a gay pride party) topless in an indian chief hat dancing like an idiot. His voice truly isn't good enough. He's a nice guy but can't let go....

I felt so bad watching this. He wasn't the best, let's be honest, but he wasn't completely awful. What hurt me was seeing him so crushed, so...destroyed. I have a lot of friends who are very talented singers, who want to audition for these types of shows, and I would feel so awful if I had to judge them.

I hated this, it still makes me cry! He doesn't mention his success with PHIXX though who he was in a band with from 2003-2005. They did a crakin' cover of Wild Boys by Duran Duran and charted etc.
