@bloodsline The manga continued long after the anime... They FINALLY finished the story in anime form though. In what is called the 'Hell Arc' we see Rin die again and Sess BREAK DOWN. He freaks out and begs her to wake up. His mother saves her and says 'If you wish to save your beloved's life', calling Rin Sess's 'beloved'. Rin's Jap Lang character profile also says 'Sesshoumaru wo shitai' and shitai means 'to love deeply, to adore, to yearn for' so his loving her is canon. <3
