She pretends a consumer has no other choice then using just one of the two names. Of course, this is simply not the case (e.g. everyone calls it Sony Ericsson when referring to this brand of cell phones). Also, (at least in Europe) the Sony Bravia televisions are well known as the #1 premium Sony tvs. When it comes to brand names, one plus one can equal three.
