Wie gerne hätte ich die 80er miterlebt... ich fühl mich bei der jetzigen "Gothic-Kultur" irgendwie nicht so wirklich hingezogen. :/ Die sind mir irgendwie ein wenig zu sehr auf Mode und Styling fixiert und immer so pseudoböse. Und irgendwie ist auch alles nur noch auf diesen Cyber-Kram fixiert. Ich lege mich musikalisch zwar jetzt nicht so fest udn höre auch ein wenig Elektro, Industrial, EBM aber mir gefällt sowas dann doch irgendwie viiiel mehr ;D

el darkwave no es gotico, es neutro, los goticos se atribuyen esa musica que es diferente..... el regeton pa los regetoneros, el rock pa los rockeros, el gothicrock la musica electronica industrial electro para los goticos....el darkwave para los ochenteros!!!!!!
@7646053 Hay mucha controversia, si el darkwave es gotico o no, pero para mi si lo es, es una mezcla de la musica gotica con elementos electronicos, el mejor ejemplo es the clan of xymox es rock gotico con elementos electronicos y eso se ve en su sonido, no es que sea para ochenteros es que la musica gotica es ochentera, el post punk, rock gotico, deathrock y darkwave nada mas, ni industrial ni metal porque sus raices son totalmente diferentes... no vienen del punk como la musica gotica.

@Demoniacles although i don't like labels that much this is supposed to be more of a "Darkwave" kind of thing.The term Gothic, is quite vague nowadays and has become an "umbrella" for the different musical forms/expression that still have the same dark "theme". If we are to get more into it then i think most people think of the Sisters of Mercy or something when they hear the term Goth. I think Darkwave is in general more instorspective, emotional and atmospheric and mostly with keyboards :)

Wenn ja, da muss ich dir recht geben. Dieser heutige überdrehte Modezirkus gab es bei den früheren New Waver-Cold Waver (in den 80er) nicht.
Ich selbst war Anfang der 80er ein New Wave/New Romantic.Anhänger...^^...unvergessliche Zeit.

Clan of Xymox jamás ha sido una banda "rock gótico con elementos electrónicos". Ninguno de sus LP's ni EP's tienen ni siquiera un tinte de ser rock.

@ lümmel: ja, die heutige Schwarze Szene ist mit der damaligen Ära der New Romantik, New Wave auf keinen Fall zu vergleichen.
Trendige schwarzige Tüll, Lack, Leder incl. SM-"Fesselspiel"-Mode und "Gruftiemusik"macht noch lange keinen "echten New Romantiker" aus.
Was heute fehlt, ist der damalige Zeitgeist!
Ach- ich weiß nicht, wie ich es ausdrücken soll.
Ich jedenfalls bin froh, diese Zeit voll miterlebt zu haben. Anfang der 80er waren auch meine Anfänge der 20er Lebensjahre -herrlich!
