Only core was dominated by SMGs, the Hardcore game was the best hardcore gameplay that Call of Duty has ever done, people used every kind of weapons in HC with all of them being very effective in the game.!

@blueshark281 yea camos and mw3 has a new weapon leveling system where you can unlock weopon profiencies such as less kick less flinch less sway once you get your weopon to the highest lvl which is lvl 30 you unlock the golden version

Thermal is a really fun addition to any sub-machine gun. I use it with the Mini Uzi in Modern Warfare 2 when I feel like having a challenge.

The PP90's most used attachement at XP was Rapid Fire. I wouldn't say that late weapons are Powerful. Uzi(PM-9 is chinese knockoff) is a late unlock which is usually bad.

Its true the mp5k is back in the campaign but im not sure about multiplayer. Watch the leaked misson that was recently leaked called "Mind the gap". Its there in the back of a truck it says press (X) for MP5K.

The cod xp game was not complete. In the teaser at the end of cod elite video shows MW3 mp the player who gets shot has the vector on his back confirming it for mp. Its the same for the M240 it was confirmed in a mp screenshot.

The 74u from cod 4 is what i liked. The black ops one was OP with rapid fire but with any other attachment its like a more accurate mp5k. I hope they put it in multiplayer.
