Anyone with FSX knowledge know why when I start a flight with the R22 and I have 100% throttle while im on the ramp, the rpms like to chill in the 90% range? I wait for it to build to 101% in the green when it should already have been there the moment I rolled up and then when I takeoff and push for 80kias the fucking low rotor warning light comes on. Im not nearly at max gross weight and density altitude is only like 6000. It's annoying, I can't even auto correctly.
@stevecoldsteve I haven't been into FSX for a long time, so i don't remember much, but did u check ur mixture?Also try using F4 for max throttle, cause sometimes joysticks's throttle bugs.
@Dyils Yeah noticed all that stuff, but it in the beginning of the flight the RPMs start off at like 80% and slowly build. I don't know. I should probably mess with the realism and turn it down. I fly with max realsim
The helicopters in FSX or any private flight sim fly nothing like a real rotorcraft. It's easier, slower, way way less responsive, less sensitive and much less maneuverable than real world physics helos.
@motoballz When have i said they are like the real thing?Ofcourse they are not..even payware helicopters arent perfect and this is a free default helicopter..
@Dyils I just noticed realism on full then it made me mad because Flight Sim X really let me down. I listened to people on forums say it was amazing whom had never been in or at the controls of a real helicopter, and probably not even a fixed wing aircraft. It kinda made me mad and I went troll mode.
