this is one of the best songs ever <3 I heard it on "toast" movie, I have searched this everywhere! I heard a LOT of versions of this song, this one is the best!! <3 wonderful
from Jose' Sepulveda, the Hermeterec.........Dusty's voice was like no other, unique and clear as a bell in a church steeple. Nobody like her before or since......so much better than the so-called "divas" of today. Beautiful, immensely talented, Dusty had it all.
As a young one, every time I ever heard her voice I would tear up. Now after all these decades.....even more so since she's left this planet. Love you Dusty....rest well sweetheart....we'll see you soon in heaven as you lead that wonderful choir.
people harp on about the 60s,me included. But when you listen to the songs, the music, and the artists,is it any wonder. For me the 60s was the birth of music, but thats just my opinion.Thanks.
@poetrywriter I've been listening to versions of this great old song, which I will be singing at an event next month and wow was I floored by this masterful treatment by Dusty. I posted along with you for obvious reasons. I miss her!
This shouldn't be surprising given that Autumn Leaves is originally a french song called Les Feuilles mortes written by Joseph Kosma in the 1940s. It was sung, among many others, by Edith Piaf, no less. Naturally, Aznavour who wrote Yesterday When I was Young in the 1960s (together with his cousin Garvarentz) could have been easily influenced by what was in the air.
This is like war music to me, before i start work in the morning, listen to this to get me pumped up and know that im right in my views and principles so i can tell ppl at work to fuck off, does that make sense, its not nasty, there nasty :D
Fuck Adele. I am finally here.
