  • Wow, just wow, she was what the song bird is all about

  • Glenn Campbell did this song on recording and it was incredible. I believe it hit him deep inside because of his own lifes story.

  • Only two singers can pull this song of perfectly... Dusty Springfield and Charles Aznevour

  • great voice

  • great song by a great artist...Charles Aznavour also does a fine rendition...

  • this is one of the best songs ever <3 I heard it on "toast" movie, I have searched this everywhere! I heard a LOT of versions of this song, this one is the best!! <3 wonderful

  • from Jose' Sepulveda, the Hermeterec.........Dusty's voice was like no other, unique and clear as a bell in a church steeple. Nobody like her before or since......so much better than the so-called "divas" of today. Beautiful, immensely talented, Dusty had it all.

  • Gorgeous!

  • Dusty is my favorite female singer of all time. Her voice is totally sexy, beautiful, haunting, lovely, perfect! I also love this song.

  • As a young one, every time I ever heard her voice I would tear up. Now after all these decades.....even more so since she's left this planet. Love you Dusty....rest well sweetheart....we'll see you soon in heaven as you lead that wonderful choir.

  • Great cover

  • Dusty Is An "Icon"....No One Can Ever Replace Her.

    God, This Song Is Breathtaking.......

How I Wish She Were Stiill With Us. rip Dusty

  • Wow! Incredible. Blows away today's music by light years.

  • The music and song are quite similar to "(Where Do I Begin?) Love Story."

  • people harp on about the 60s,me included. But when you listen to the songs, the music, and the artists,is it any wonder. For me the 60s was the birth of music, but thats just my opinion.Thanks.

  • Brilliant, Dusty at her very best, and this by far the best version.

  • Von Charles Aznavour ist es besser gesungen.

  • I also heard it on toast i love freddie highmore!!!

  • A brilliant song. Heard it on toast as well. a great song for a great and emotional TV film.

  • Lovely song, similar chord progression to 'Autumn Leaves'... :-)

  • @the1fozman

This shouldn't be surprising given that Autumn Leaves is originally a french song called Les Feuilles mortes written by Joseph Kosma in the 1940s. It was sung, among many others, by Edith Piaf, no less. Naturally, Aznavour who wrote Yesterday When I was Young in the 1960s (together with his cousin Garvarentz) could have been easily influenced by what was in the air.

  • toast is like my story

  • Heard it on Toast too. [Didn't it suit the ending well?] Fab song. Surprised I'd never heard it before.

  • Dusty sung it so beautifully.........super

  • Reminds me of early gypsy travels before I grew up and joined the civilised world.

this hits the spot, again and again.
