@fundude147 i dont think it's technically possible, as the lowest you can place is 4th without "trying again" and the AI was horrid in 64, like the same 3 people will always be behind you and they will place 1-3rd everytime almost. Notice, in the points, Toad was the only formidable person to place you into 5th. and he lost miserably in race 4.

I remembered when I played this game (at least in multiplayer) if a player (at least player 2) got 4th place, you could see them in the background, but the camera would never focus on them like in this. I hadn't realized that the camera focuses on the player if they are the main player.

I like this ending and it is kind of a secret since you can't ever place lower than 4th in a race but still have to not get in the top 3. Also if you are doing 2 player and one guy gets in the top 3, even if the other guy gets 8th every race it will not show this ending it will only show the normal trophy ending with the 8th place guy sitting in the distance. If both players don't make the top 3 or even tie in this case the game will only pick one to show the bomb and the other won't be there.
