Go to ITunes and search under the movies section, and you can down load a copy of House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark Shadows for around $10 per movie.
@4thtroika Isn't that the truth! The black and white opening with the waves crashing was so scary to me when I was a kid. Lol! But God, did we tear ass home from the bus stop to watch DS. Me, my little brother Joe, and the Carson Boys (John and Jim) back in the late 60's. Shout out to Jim and John Carson. It's your neighbor Ken from Joliet, IL-1969-1970.
Go to Amazon and select "Video on Demand" in the search box. Then type in House of Dark Shadows to pull up the page. You can watch it for $2.99 or buy it for $9.99.
I've always adored DARK SHADOWS. I watched it religiously as a child, on the edge of my seat with mouth hanging open.
But, I don't care for either of the DS movies. They have none of the show's ambience or character development. They're just run-of-the-mill horror flicks.
LOL! That crow scared the shit out of me! Great soap opera. I ised to watch the old re-runs when I was laid off years ago. The revival TV show was too short lived. The movies were more gore and horror than heavy suspense and high drama.
I of course was not in HODS but I loved it just the same!
